16/05/2026: Dreadful experience, satay skewers were so tough we couldn't eat them and the green chicken curry was in a thick gloopy sauce .

28/02/2026: Order for take away, available for collection promptly, staff on arrival were lovely, friendly and efficient. Food was delicious, very reasonably priced and generous amount of food for adults and kids meals. Everyone was very happy with the meal!

16/01/2026: We enjoyed the Guinness, conversation, and wood fire in the fireplace on a chilly day. Thanks for the hospitality!

01/04/2026: Got food delivered came absolutely freezing after over an hour of waiting, and not only was it late and cold but the food itself tasted absolutely disgusting. 🤢 don’t waste your money here

01/04/2026: Good atmosphere despite the unreasonable price for the quantity and taste. The salmon tasted like it had been frozen and the squid was tasteless. €50 for 2 people.

30/01/2026: Had the fish and chips. The food was only okay, the fish was great but the chips were only so and so. The staff were very nice, but it was raining and I nearly fell twice because of a slippery floor.

13/06/2026: Very basic rooms, but clean. Live music daily in the on-site pub. Super central location. The car park is quite small, but there are paid and free public parking spaces nearby.

10/06/2026: Nice hotel, service and staff very friendly. Based right in the heart of the town. But the trade off is that it can be quite noisy until around midnight. Social bar downstairs reasonably priced. Room was a little dated with wear and tear. Clean though and beds comfy. No WiFi that I know of though. Would recommend for a staying a few nights as a base for sure.

16/08/2025: Yet another food and drink establishment that has just decided we all want to drink low fat milk, no option of full fat. Is it too much to just buy in a carton and have it as an option at least

29/12/2025: I must strongly say I ordered chicken wings from this takeaway and it was absolutely nasty, it was the worst chicken wings I've ever eaten, I disapprove of it and I wouldn't recommend them at all, they tasted like they were gone off, absolutely sickening stuff

23/04/2026: We visited as a group of three while traveling around Ireland, and this was easily one of the best meals we had on our trip. The shop was incredibly clean and had a great atmosphere. Every dish we ordered tasted fantastic. I'd highly recommend the food here! A special shout-out to Patrick, who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Excellent food and even better service

06/04/2026: They can't take orders properly & overcharged me, and my order was not as requested (asked for spicy and they gave me normal instead). The food was bland and more greasy than usual. Also they didn't call out the order to confirm it when ordering, for some reason. Terrible customer service.

03/04/2026: Terrible breakfast..sausage uncooked. Looked as if they just came from packet...bacon was so fatty it was not worth trying to find lean bit .Ten euro each for breakfast then they charge you 7 euro for tea for two .pure rip off ..A lot better places in killarney

04/12/2025: My experience at this café was really disappointing. I went through a very upsetting, unprofessional and unfair way, and the manager’s behavior was completely unacceptable! Instead of listening or trying to understand what happened, she raised her voice and treated us in a way that was both embarrassing and disrespectful in front of everyone. I’ve visited this place many times before, and some of the staff even recognize me, so I truly didn’t expect this kind of treatment. Seeing how the situation was handled today was honestly ruined the visit I won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend visiting this place at all!

04/12/2025: Today we had a very upsetting experience at the café. My friend walked in while holding a drink from another coffee shop, and we honestly didn’t know it was against their policy. The moment the manager told us, we apologized and tried to explain that it was just a misunderstanding. My friend was ready to leave, and we were about to order from the café. However, the manager refused to listen and kept yelling at us, insisting that we leave the café. While we were trying to calmly discuss the situation, she didn’t want to understand or even hear our side. It felt like there was a form of discrimination towards me and my friends, which made the situation even worse. We asked to speak to the manager, and unfortunately, she turned out to be the same person who was shouting at us. She continued raising her voice in front of everyone, making the whole situation very embarrassing and uncomfortable. People in the café were staring, and it became a very humiliating moment for us. We would have appreciated a more professional and respectful approach, especially after we apologized and tried to correct the mistake immediately.

04/05/2026: Not a restaurant as advertised. It's an overpriced cafeteria. Un cleared tables sees you fighting away lurking crows in the courtyard. Staff were nice

05/05/2026: All meals were very large so good for big eaters but the chicken curry was kind of mid. Chicken was very dry and sauce was a bit too cashew flavoured for my liking. Rice was nice and hot but the curry sauce and chicken was noticeably colder. Otherwise service was good and someone else at the table had the roast beef special and said it was fabulous. 2 stars only because not only was the curry not good but it was quite expensive for said curry. 3 stars if it was a competitive price but for what we paid i did better quality control for the food brought out

10/06/2026: The loveliest couple own this little restaurant, the only one open late in this town. Great for a large group in need of a late night meal. Definitely could amp up the flavour even more, but hits the spot.

16/05/2026: Tir Na Ri impressed me. I was in two minds about ordering a takeaway, but I’m glad I did. Friendly service from a lovely lady, quick ordering, and both cash and card accepted. The Cantonese duck, noodles, and sweet and sour chicken were all tasty. I’ll definitely order again soon.
