05/03/2025: I had the pleasure of visiting Christina's Café in Tralee recently, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere immediately set the tone for what turned out to be a delightful visit. The café exudes charm with its cozy interior, tasteful decor, and a layout that balances comfort and privacy perfectly. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring a great dining experience. The menu offered an excellent variety of options, catering to both traditional and contemporary tastes. I opted for chocolate muffins, and it was simply outstanding. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the ingredients tasted fresh, and it was presented with care and creativity. It’s evident that the team at Christina's Café takes great pride in their food. One aspect that truly stood out was the attention to detail, from the prompt service to the little personal touches in the café's ambiance. It’s clear that Christina's Café is not just about serving food but creating a memorable experience for their customers. Overall, I highly recommend Christina's Café to anyone visiting Tralee. 10/11/2024: Ordered 2 toasted sandwiches and a tea (we weren't that hungry) we said no chips or side salad the waitress came back and asked after 2 seconds of us ordering do ye want salad with that and again I said no. She went to tell the women making the sandwich which I presume was the owner "2 toasted sandwiches" then said I did try get them to have salad and chips but they didn't want it" . Went to pay.. for two not even toasted properly sandwiches the waitress charged us for two toasted specials with chips and side salad because I suppose 2 normal toasted sandwiches wouldn't bring them in enough money. I asked for a receipt and she said she had to type in some things manually as she obviously knew I knew she was over charging me. I really dont mind paying for good quality food but not for 2 weak not even toasted proplerlysandwiches . Avoid this place!!

20/05/2025: We come here often as the staff are so friendly and helpful.The food is always perfect. The service area and seating area are always so clean. It is a pleasure to come and dine at anytime

18/05/2025: Was in jumbos yesterday for my daughter’s communion after party and from start to finish the service was amazing greeted with smiles and they had catered for all of us without any hitch highly recommended. We were allocated all the upstairs seating area to ourselves one very happy girl

27/05/2025: This was a quick stop while strolling through the streets of Killarney. Left my husband on the tour bus because he wasn't feeling well and decided to take him something hot. Service was quick and he really enjoyed his ramen. Even though I didn't eat in the restaurant it lloked nice and clean.

23/05/2025: Lana Killarney was a standout dining experience during our trip, and it completely exceeded our expectations. After reading some mixed reviews, especially about the duck, our group of eight decided to skip that one dish—but every other part of the meal was nothing short of incredible. We’re a family that loves food and adventure, so we always make a point to order a variety of dishes and pass them around to share. At Lana, every single plate we tried was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The spices, textures, and freshness made this one of the most memorable meals we’ve had on our trip. It felt like a hidden gem, especially since there were only one or two other people there at the time. It made the whole experience feel even more personal. Service was consistent with what we’ve seen across Ireland—friendly, relaxed, and efficient. While it didn’t stand out as over-the-top attentive, it was just right for the vibe of the restaurant. The only tiny thing we noticed was the lack of ice in the water, but honestly, that seems to be more of a cultural norm than anything. We were so focused on enjoying the food that we didn’t even think to ask for more, and it quickly became part of the charm. Lana Killarney deserves far more love than it seems to get in the reviews. If you’re in town and want something flavorful, fresh, and a little different from the traditional Irish fare, this is the spot. Don't let one or two reviews steer you away. We had an incredible time and would absolutely return.

06/05/2025: We’ve arrived relatively late in the evening in Killarney and we were browsing for a place to eat. Passing by, a lady spotted us reading the menu displayed outside, she came to us and radiating satisfaction: “trust me, you won’t regret the food is fantastic”. We decided to try. The service was friendly and fast, the pork tenderloin cooked to perfection. My wife was very satisfied with her oven roast chicken. Definitely will revisit the place on our next trip to Ireland

04/05/2025: Entré por el cumpleaños de mi madre, el barman Denis fue extremadamente grosero, me dijo “tienes que ser rápido cariño” cuando decidimos qué tomas queríamos, le pedí que por favor no usara este tono conmigo, ya que me pareció extremadamente condescendiente, ya que estaba haciendo gestos con las manos mientras decía esto. Unos 20 minutos después mi familia y yo estábamos en el bar hablando riendo y pasándolo bien y el mismo bar le pidió a mi prima que “bajara la voz, hay gente tratando de comer” ¿Estábamos en el bar? ¿Y no había nadie comiendo a nuestro alrededor? ¿Todo lo que hacía era reírse? Situación muy muy incómoda para todos nosotros. Además de todo esto las pintas de Carlsberg eran planas y cálidas Muy, muy insatisfechos y honestamente estábamos molestos dejando

28/04/2025: Los niños disfrutaron del menú infantil y los tamaños de las porciones eran perfectos. Tenía las fajitas; porciones muy sabrosas y enormes. Mi única queja es que la salsa/crema agria/guacamole fueron servidas en pequeños recipientes de plástico. Con Killarney liderando el camino contra los envases de una sola ración esto me sacudió un poco.

04/04/2025: I had a good honest freshly made sandwich and coffee for less than a tenner served by friendly helpful staff. Seems to be a local hot-spot, serves lots of homemade dinners and deli food. I will be back, thank you.

25/05/2025: I am ashamed of this place. I went into the shop with kindness and received absolute lies. I came into this shop and asked if the food here was Halal and the employee at the shop replied yes. I found out from a friend that the manager said all the food is cooked in one batch of oil. That means that the "halal" chicken was cooked with all the pork. I am disappointed with this shop. You just lost a loyal customer.

11/05/2025: I was here for food, I'll start by saying it was not busy at all. For reasons unknown there was lots of staff but none in "Nead" restaurant The food was quite good to be fair but the service was *painfully* slow. This has happened to me both times I've gone there, I won't be returning.

10/05/2025: I loved to pop into the Landsdown when I went into Kenmare for tea and cake in the cafe. I'm not sure if it was just a bad day, hardly any cake available, I ordered a slice of the gluten-free bakewell cake, and it was stale. I sat outside, waiting for 10 minutes. The cafe was not busy. The quality was always fantastic, and I hope this is just a blip.

13/01/2025: First of I would like to say that I did try posting this review on their website but was refused (obviously only accept good reviews) Went into this chippy Friday,and had to make myself noticeable as the miserable staff didn't even have the courtesy to lift there heads up to me to acknowledge I'd walked up to the counter. There was 1 other couple in the whole shop eating, no1 else ,after getting finally noticed I had to repeatedly ask for a portion of chips 3 times as the chap serving couldn't be bothered to look up at me whilst he was doing other things like standing wiping the counter. The portion of chips I got was awful, very small crunchy over cooked chips,clearly these had been re-dropped in the oil to reheat.,chips where terrible hard overcooked and tasteless never have I had this experience in the old quinlans shop. I have given low scores on this review because it was deserved, get your shop back to giving FRESHLY made beautiful chips PLEASE Food: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 1/5
