It's okay, but the price-to-quality ratio is average. The atmospheric Irish decor is a plus.

A hotel for a maximum of one night, if you're passing through or want to be in the center of Tralee. The hotel is located in the heart of Tralee, close to the town center, pubs, and restaurants. Parking is available behind the hotel. You can also use the swimming pool. The rooms are clean and as described. The hotel seems to have seen its best days. You receive a key to your room with a wooden board, which is difficult to keep in your pocket. The room decor evokes a bygone era, I'd say the late 1980s/early 1990s. The breakfast was rather forgettable, and having visited several places in western Ireland during the week, this one was the worst.

We appreciated the hotel's location, just a few minutes' walk from Tralee town center, which is very convenient for getting around without a car. The room we had wasn't very spacious, but it was sufficient for a short stay. The bathroom, on the other hand, was modern and seemed to have been recently renovated, which was a real plus. We had requested an accessible room. For us, the small step to get into the shower wasn't a problem, but it could pose difficulties for someone in a wheelchair, so this room isn't fully adapted. Access to the room is with a traditional key (no magnetic card), so be careful not to lose it. As for the food, the meal was decent but not memorable; nothing particularly noteworthy, neither positive nor negative. The hotel also has a swimming pool, but we didn't have the chance to try it. In short, a well-located and convenient hotel for exploring Tralee, but it remains quite basic compared to other establishments.
