02/10/2025: Had a wonderful time in the restaurant the staff and most of all food was the best ordered lamb biryani was mouth watering owner was a good hearted person passionate towards his work and taking good care towards the customer.

27/09/2025: Fine food, good and friendly service, and the option to bring your own wine for a €5 tap fee: everything was great. Only the ambiance was a bit chilly.

14/09/2025: I asked if I can have cofee... They said yes. I went to the car for 20 seconds to take my card... In this time they start the cleaning program of the machine... Desgusting mean people.

21/07/2025: Fabulous Café, Staff are beyond Helpful & Entertaining. The Tea is out of this world, coffee is highest rating I could ever give. Food is unbelievable and so reasonably priced. Ill be back again next week.

28/06/2025: Just had the worse food ever here this evening, first placed order the girl asked did I want everything on regular burger ,as I replied yes ,the order was regular burger meal, 1/2 pounder ,taco fries ,breast of chicken 2 drinks. We waited 30 minutes with everone that came in after gone with food etc .regular burger came with ketchup is that everything on burger and all the food was cold .3 young people working there then man came in with bald head i think owner no manner by anyone in there he could see our order was 30min because I had to call the young boy and ask was it nearly ready we were waiting 30 min so he went in and said it ,not impressed by service as I managed a fast food restaurant for 20 years myself in kerry I am fuming, they need to change things for a tourist resort.

07/08/2025: I always try and make a visit to the green rooster when I visit Tralee. It never disappoints. Homely atmosphere, eat in with plates and cutlery. Real food. A step above a generic chain experience. I look forward to eating there again next time I am in Tralee

24/06/2025: It’s not the most cozy place to eat in, but very popular among locals for take out. My personal favourite is Crispy chicken in peking sauce! Absolutely delicious

20/06/2025: I got two Donner burger meals tonight. I never felt so sick in my life. after eating some of it I noticed There was mold under the buger buns and a smell off it. to make it worse, they picked the mold off the top of the bun they did not care that I could have been very sick. when I went down to the shop they new what they did because they offered me my money back straight away and had a talk to the chef. It just shows they don't care about the Customers

28/10/2024: I thought the price of the food was a little bit high, but I was expecting the food to be very good..... it was not very good for the price we paid. The service was not good. They brought out a tray, a cappuccino, and a BLT. The cappuccino wasn't on a saucer, no spoons or stirrers provided, no sugar, and no milk. When she dropped them onto the table, the cappuccino spilt and made a mess. She forgot my Americano and had to go back for it. Again, she came back without saucer, spoons, milk, or sugar. I didn't like how it was carried out without a tray, and she was just holding it by the handle. The price we paid didn't reflect the service we got (or lack thereof).

17/09/2024: Stopped here for lunch yesterday the food was nice. The service wasn't great. We ordered two wraps and while they were being made we asked the lady that served us if we could take our seat outside and she told us there's 15 seconds left in the toaster if we can wait for our wraps to take them out ourselves. I found this extremely odd, the cafe was empty and there were 2 tables outside with just coffees, while 4 staff members were behind the counter, one looking at her phone as I waited for my food.. bizarre!..

05/09/2025: Really excellent supermacs Clean, good food and plenty of seating. The staff are exceptional, so helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend

23/08/2025: I was fairly hungry going in here but the food was not up to scratch. I'd do better myself.

14/10/2025: Great location at a reasonable price. Room and food were good. I found the lady at reception a bit uninterested when it came to checking me in. She couldn't tell me if there was space in the hotel carpark or not and her directions for me to get there from where I was parked out front were less than clear.

07/10/2025: Nice hotel, rooms were clean. We stayed one night, everything was ok, personal was kind and helpful. They have small parking place (First come take a spot).

19/07/2025: The bouncer is a very unkind man. He actually ruined my night & I went home early. I have alopecia & I am very self conscious about my hair. Last night was showery & I was wearing an expensive Columbia hat. The bouncer very condescendingly made me take it off. I was working at the races all week & was supposed to meet some of my colleagues for the Latin night in Scruffys. What right does this bully have to tell me if I can wear headwear or not. Honestly how dare him. I might add we were at a stag party here before & the same man refused us entry because the stag was wearing a dress. Some of the group suggested we take legal action for that incident. It’s 2025 lads & ye are in one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ireland sort it out immediately. That man owes me an apology & if he doesn’t change his attitude he should change his job.

16/08/2025: They tried to make me pay more than I owed them, see the attached pic. Pay attention. And the waitress were rude, even after I confronted them on their "mistake", faking smile behind her words "I am terrriibly sorry". Fish and chips were not even fresh and not cooked as described in the menu. The fries were still cold inside. The price was way too high for the quality and quantity anyway. To Avoid.
