21/08/2025: Lovely quiet location in a beautiful area. Staff extremely friendly

18/08/2025: Staff are great, location is great and the actual building is lovely but the food let's the place down. My husband had chowder, not good, too much cream and very little fish. I had the Dingle Pizza but I couldn't find a single prawn, only small bits of prawn scattered. It tasted as if were cooked from frozen despite being advertised as great. Kids chicken goujons were a miserly 3 goujons so had to feed him again when home. However the fish and chips was very good and would recommend this dish. If they upped their game with the food it would be a fantastic place.

18/07/2025: My wife and I were having a couple of drinks and the owner had an issue with a small party going on in the function room. The owner had to be carried out by a bar man as he was too intoxicated and in a bad mood. A regular occurrence as locals will let you know. This man is rude and ignorant. He doesn’t need the money but acts as if every customer is a hindrance and inconvenience. He needs to sell up and go into a dark hole where he belongs. Grade A loser. Most miserable man I’ve ever met. Won’t be returning.

16/07/2025: Oh my god we just drove past this place on the way to Waterville and had the best server Chloe she was 10/10 her service was exceptional and the food was the best would recommend.

15/07/2025: Awful. Out of most options. Nothing vegan. After waiting an hour and a half for our food, we left. Shocking!

09/07/2025: Absolute dirt, without doubt the worst place I've eaten in my life. Couldn't even finish the pizza it was undercooked, under flavoured, and over priced, I felt apologetic for putting it into the bin. No toilet facilities, and service with a frown on their face.

15/07/2025: This was probably the worst meal my mother and I have ever had for this price She ordered shrimp tagliatelle with basil, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and chili. It sounded flavorful and promising, but what we got was bland and poorly prepared. None of the ingredients were fresh But the worst was that the pasta was overcooked...how do you mess up pasta? And the dish cost 30 euros.. Thirty euros for overcooked pasta with no flavor. Completely disappointing. Oh and I almost forgot my mother also ordered a glass of wine with her meal that she never received. Would definitely not recommend.

05/07/2025: Stopped here on the way back from a swim/sauna at Ballinskelligs, it was raining and quite late out. We were here in holiday and we stupidly ordered without checking we had cash with us! The owners were so good and said we could just drop the money down the next day, but as we were leaving in the morning they said we could leave with the local shop for them. So of course that's what we did! Regarding the food itself (eaten piping hot in our campervan), portions were generous and the fish was so fresh, with a lovely light batter. Chips were good and the curry sauce was delicious! All in all, a great meal, thoroughly recommend!! Thank you again for your kindness to these two eejits!

31/05/2025: Some of the service was relatively lackluster, menus were dirty, and the restrooms and restaurant weren't particularly clean. The food was good, though. Gluten-free pizza and pasta available.

18/05/2025: We ate pasta there. Everything tasted like it was pre-made sauce with lots of garlic powder. The food wasn't good. The service was very friendly and nice, but very loud, as the dishes we ordered were constantly being called into the kitchen. The restroom was simply disgusting. It wasn't cleaned, it was incredibly dirty. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

26/07/2025: I've been coming for years. Doner Wraps top notch, special taco chips are truly special. Ali tonight gave un fantastic service. Could not recommend enough to end your night in tralee

20/06/2025: I got two Donner burger meals tonight. I never felt so sick in my life. after eating some of it I noticed There was mold under the buger buns and a smell off it. to make it worse, they picked the mold off the top of the bun they did not care that I could have been very sick. when I went down to the shop they new what they did because they offered me my money back straight away and had a talk to the chef. It just shows they don't care about the Customers

17/03/2025: Had a meal here on St Patrick's day, the lady serving us was fantastic. Checked back with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was nice.

09/02/2025: This may be a nice hotel! Booked on a well known hotel website and paid before we arrived to stay. We anticipated staying in a hotel room in the hotel with access to bar for a cosy relaxing hotel stay etc. It turns out, that the only staff member on duty was the night porter, who seems a lovely positive good humoured person and he assisted us by turning on the heating in our room. Earlier in the afternoon as I checked in I was told at reception, that the hotel bar and the hotel was closed for the evening/night as it was the night of the staff party. The room in 'the annex' in which we stayed was spotlessly clean and modern. The annex is a separate single storey building in a lane way to the rear of the hotel not physically connected to the hotel; therefore more akin to an air bnb letting. There was internet, coffee facilities, no bottled water, we drank water from the bathroom taps. It's fine, modern decor, clean, reasonably comfortable standard double bed with two pillows per person : however, definitely not what we expected when we booked and therefore we'd not be rushing back! There was car parking adjacent to the annex/room.

20/07/2025: I liked the restaurant. Simple interior. The food is delicious. This was my first experience of tasting Indian cuisine. And it is delicious.

20/07/2025: Tasty food, portion big enough to feed grown man (183cm/97kg)😅 very professional and nice service, waiter made sure we had great experince. 10 stars for service.

19/08/2025: Self Service Restaurant/ Café situated near Muckross House. The Hake Dish served with Mediterranean Vegetables is delicious. The have lots of choices for lunch and have sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee and herbal teas too. Plus, a Soft serve Ice cream machine 🍦🍦🍦 You can stroll the gardens and view the lakes afterwards. A really beautiful scenic spot about 10mins drive from Killarney Town. We be back 🙂

18/08/2025: I had a salad bowl and rhubarb slice in the cafe for lunch, before exploring the grounds. The slice was exquisite and there was a good mix of veg and flavours in the bowl - no complaints.

26/07/2025: €6.10 for chips, cheese and burger sauce. Chips are rotten with a drizzle of sauce!

18/07/2025: Sorry Peter but your staff don’t do what they should my kids ordered online and they never got their correct order and this happens regularly, this evening they ordered Oreo milkshakes and garlic pizza with cheese, they got neither, I rang and was told they ran out of Oreo’s and gave strawberry milkshake and bisque milk shake that they don’t like and the garlic pizza was promised to be delivered but nothing came, it’s disappointing to hear them giving out

08/08/2025: Not a bad hotel, off street parking which is great when you are travelling on a motorbike. Reception staff were excellent. The bar staff, not quite so good, a bit slow serving when you're the only one waiting. Bar manageress had a quite unfriendly attitude, I was carrying my bike kit through the bar too the hotel and stopped to give her room to walk through, a thankyou costs nothing. I decided to eat in the restaurant that evening, and went for the belly pork, I think it had been cooked with in an inch of its life, as it was very dry thank god for the gravy and mash. The room was fine, but a long walk from reception. Saying that I would happily stay here again.

01/08/2025: Three words: bed on wheels. You can only imagine the piles of furniture I had to wedge around the bed to keep it from careening across the room dare I even THINK about leaning my head against the wall to read. Otherwise, not bad. Central. Front desk was very helpful. In fact they were so nice I couldn't bring myself to complain about the roller derby bed situation.

28/06/2025: Just had the worse food ever here this evening, first placed order the girl asked did I want everything on regular burger ,as I replied yes ,the order was regular burger meal, 1/2 pounder ,taco fries ,breast of chicken 2 drinks. We waited 30 minutes with everone that came in after gone with food etc .regular burger came with ketchup is that everything on burger and all the food was cold .3 young people working there then man came in with bald head i think owner no manner by anyone in there he could see our order was 30min because I had to call the young boy and ask was it nearly ready we were waiting 30 min so he went in and said it ,not impressed by service as I managed a fast food restaurant for 20 years myself in kerry I am fuming, they need to change things for a tourist resort.
