30/07/2026: Went to Peter’s on a recent Wednesday evening. The place is clearly popular with a mix of eat-in and takeaway customers. They do a great range of smash burgers, as good, if not better, than any I’ve had elsewhere. I went for the Classic and was not disappointed. The chips are genuine chipper chips which is a real bonus. The staff were friendly and the service good. Would definitely go back.

05/04/2026: I've visited a few times while in Killorglin. Always hoping to get a clearer read on this place, I still haven't managed it. The staff here are genuinely lovely and always pleasant to deal with. No complaints there whatsoever. Portion sizes are also seriously impressive, the price is on the slightly higher side, but the amount of food you get does reflect that, so fair enough. The problem is the food itself and how unpredictable it seems to be. Every visit feels like a dice roll. The food can be delicious, mediocre, or sometimes just simply inedible. There's no pattern to it that I can identify, which makes it hard to recommend with any confidence. My suspicion is an ingredient substitution issue. When they run out of their usual stock, they seem to swap to noticeably cheaper or lower quality alternatives. The chips are a good example, they have a go-to frozen chip that's actually quite good. But when that runs out, whatever replaces it is obviously a large step down. The same issue crops up elsewhere in chicken dishes too. Could be the product, or could be the freshness. Even the sauces can taste totally different each visit, again not sure if its a substitution issue or just how long what they're serving has been sitting out for. It's perhaps understandable for a small family run restaurant managing costs, but it directly affects the dining experience in a way that's hard to ignore. I'd be much more likely to come to spend more money here if they were willing to spend more money ensuring they're consistent with the quality of the ingredients they use. There's a genuinely good restaurant in here somewhere, but until the consistency improves, I can't give it more than 3 stars total.

22/08/2026: Absolutely disgusting food. It tasted stale, poorly prepared, and honestly inedible. The quality was terrible and nowhere near what you would expect from a restaurant. Even worse, after eating the food, we both developed diarrhoea and felt unwell. I can’t prove what caused it, but the timing was extremely concerning and made an already awful experience much worse. Very disappointing, a complete waste of money, and I definitely won’t be ordering from here again. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this place.

09/09/2026: Very bad experience,I ordered house special fried rice to my workplace and entirely different food was delivered..when I complained I was told to order another, service was very bad do not order from them .not worth the risk honestly

08/10/2026: Missing items from order.....2 maple chicken burgers missing from our order at a cost of £7.29 each so RIPPED OFF BY £14.58 BY McDonalds......i usually check before driving off but trusted them. See photo Someone else got our burgers at no cost .....check bag thoroughly

12/10/2026: Best spice bag I had in my short week in Ireland (and I had a lot of chips let me tell you) - highly recommend stopping here for a late night snack!

25/09/2026: Ordered Kung Pao chicken and rice for takeaway. (Sept. 24) after a late night of music at the Courthouse. Rice was good, but chicken needed more attention. Very watery sauce with no thickening agent. Lacked crucial flavours expected in a Chinese dish. There was however plenty of chicken. Napkins and cutlery was not included in the bag. These guys are takeaway only. Come on! At least ask me if I need these items; which I did. In today’s world with present day prices and review-heavy expectations you need to do better.

17/07/2026: I promise you this is the best kebabs in Ireland, I praise the people that work there, they always sort you out with a smile and you leave the place with a smile. Please never stop doing what your doing kebabs 20/10 atmosphere 20/10 the people working there 100/10 I will always come back to this place when I visit my family here in Milltown
