Bunker Bar in Ballybunion

It was okay...basic and a bit pricey for what it was, that said most things are expensive these days. Would I go again? Probably but I'd probably go to the chopper next door first.

We had a very good lunch, summer hours, the kitchen opened at 2pm, very good lunch, abundant dishes, helpful and friendly waitresses. There is a parking lot behind the bar, allowing you to go to the beach and walk along the cliffs path.

Owner is absolutely lovely and a great man. Unfortunately had a server who seemed like she was having a bad day perhaps and we found that she was not friendly, and refused to allow us to have one item off of the children's menu, although I suppose that might just be bar policy. It didn't ruin my experience too much and I understand that everyone has bad days so I can't blame the girl if thats why she came across as unfriendly and disinterested. Food was good!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My wife and I had a fantastic dining experience at Bunker Bar & Restaurant. I ordered the turkey stuffed with ham, and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. My wife chose the prawns, and she was equally impressed with the quality and taste. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. We left very satisfied and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service. Thank you, Bunker Bar & Restaurant, for a wonderful evening! Food was excellent had breakfast that morning sausages were superb as was the breakfast staff were lovely came back later for dinner roast beef was cooked beautifully again staff were courteous and professional but I have to say the highlight was the triple choc brownie 😋 omg unbelievable would highly recommend 😋 and the Guinness
