Butler Arms Hotel in Waterville-spunkane

Restaurant is fantastic for family meal and occasions. Staff were fantastic as always!

Arrived late in the evening and got a wonderful room. The fire was blazing in the lobby. The breakfast left nothing to be desired and was freshly prepared according to our wishes. The location with a view of the sea made our overnight stay a highlight. Gladly again

Das Zimmer war echt super. Bad aus Marmor und echt viel Platz! Das Abendessen war sehr gut, genauso wie das Frühstück. Das Hotel liegt auf der anderen Straßenseite direkt an der Küste. Man hat einen perfekten Ausblick. Parken war im Innenhof kostenlos. Vielen Dank für diese tolle Erfahrung am Ring of Kelly

A nice hotel very relaxing friendly staff and the view ls are out of this world... Definitely worth a visit I must say!

Great location with beautiful views over Chaplin Park. We had the best room, 508 I think, with the only terrace. Restaurant was great, ate there two nights. Jazz entertainment on Fridays. A rainbow formed as we were sitting outside drinking wine that we bought at the local grocery store behind the hotel. Convenient to Waterville Golf Course.

Clean, friendly, comfortable, great breakfast. Dodgy WiFi.

We stayed here and thought the location and food were good but that's about it. We stayed in one of their "nice" rooms but the furnishings all were in serious need of being reupholstered. They were fraying and had stains. It was exceptionally hot in the rooms also. Everything was attached to the walls like the hair dryer and the hangers. Like people just some and steal everything. The room decor is old and tired. The bathroom smelled like broccoli. It was also quite noisy from the road, other guests, and the bar. I paid what feels like a lot for not very much! It's not 4 stars it's more like a low 3. I would not return.

We ate at the Fisherman's Bar. Around the corner from Butler Arms. There were a shower of tour busses parked on the main street, so we knew Butler Arms would be busy. And there was a funeral group coming to the hotel. We stopped for lunch on our way around the Ring of Kerry. Fish and chips were excellent! The f&c lunch is the size of a dinner (and they charge you for a dinner: €20 for lunch!). Other than that, we were very satisfied with the food and service.
