Dropped in here today with my wife, 2 year old and 4 month old after a walk on the beach. Classic rural Irish bar. Immaculate inside. Couple of old boys at the bar. Local pictures, lifeboat memorabilia, Irish rugby and GAA imagery on the walls.
Fantastic pint of Guinness and nice glass of wine. Fairly priced.
Only staying for a few more nights but if I get the chance to return I will.
We spent one night here and it was very good. The room was lovely, decorated in a nautical and modern style, and the accommodation is indeed located at the western end of the island with a very short walk to the beach. All our requests were catered to at breakfast.
Just amazing service and treatment, we got stuck in Fenit due to the horrible bus service. They helped us to get a taxi, ask if we were okay and comfortable. The nicest people we encountered all day, would go again to Fenit just for them.
