10/02/2026: We had a wonderful stay at The Killarney Oaks Hotel. The rooms were absolutely spotless and so comfortable, and from the moment we arrived the staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful. Dinner was delicious and beautifully presented, and everything throughout our stay was efficient and well run. There’s plenty of parking, which is a real bonus, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of local amenities. What really stood out was the staff—they truly go above and beyond to make guests feel looked after. An absolute pleasure to stay here, and we’ll definitely be back.

08/02/2026: Staff in bar standing around doing nothing. Felt I was being rushed as Three times Staff came over to ask if I had finished my dinner when I clearly haven't. Staff talking about personal matters at Bar. Staff getting angry at each other over mixed up orders. Was not told the specials and wish I had ordered something else then the awful chicken I had.

23/09/2025: Best Night of sleep I've had in weeks. Beds are so comfortable. Best shower I've had in weeks. And such nice service all around. Everyone is so friendly. Definitely recommend.

22/08/2025: Such an amazing staff, hotel, and location! Everyone was so kind and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. Definitely our favorite place we’ve stayed during our country tour. Highly recommend!!!

04/03/2026: Sorry to say that we were disappointed with this restaurant today. While the food was good the gentleman with the glasses that was taken the order refused to give us breakfast as it was just 12.00 that would have been OK but he took a order for two breakfasts from two gentlemen that ordered the same time as us which left us very disappointed 😞. Now what we got was lovely and the girl that served us was very nice and kind but the man that took the order could have asked the chef to cook 4 breakfasts instead of two. We really love this restaurant but will find it hard to go back again after this experience.

15/10/2025: The worst chicken I have had in years, it must have been sitting there all day, I would have brought it back but I had gone to next job. I will stick to my favourite places in future, the food is always fresh, ten euros for two pieces of rubber and a few chips, better value elsewhere.

12/10/2025: Very disappointed, I'm a regular and I paid for a special kebab this evening but got a very dry donner kebab instead, It's the third time it's happened so I'm done and not going back, I will be spreading the word through the community as well so good luck guys👌

22/08/2025: Thursday night we stayed after 12 when the back bar turns into a disco. Wacky mix of American tunes you didn't know you needed to dance to.

25/11/2025: Stayed two nights in room number 8. No heating. The radiator in the bathroom was removed altogether. Very cold. Don't believe what the advertising says. There was.no tea or coffee making facilities. I'm only giving it one star because I can't give it zero. Avoid at all costs.

27/10/2025: Ciao ragazzi, We were in there like swimwear and enjoyed some italian blondes and irish darks. Live music was great but we left as soon as it started. Piacere!

03/12/2025: A very pleasant surprise! We weren't expecting much when we went in, yet we ate very well! The goat cheese, strawberry, and walnut salad was excellent and refreshing, and the fish and chips were generous. Plus, the place was clean!

27/01/2026: Pizzas were delicious and delivered in great time. The delivery driver was professional and nice. They have nice offers too sometimes, we only get delivery as there is no seating area but much better eating it at home!

18/11/2025: When I was there the owners barred me for absolutely no solid reason! The owner Fiona gave me the shocking news that I was barred! Some bar staff told the owner a lie that I was rude and I wasn't and the hotel never to this day apologize d for it! Then, a few years later I was thumbing a lift to Listowel when she once again rude towards me telling me she would stop this car and I'll get out! I ve no idea why I got in car in first place! This woman is downright rude and pins blame on everyone else, she never apologize s for being wrong! Before that happened it was a really nice hotel, delicious food but I'd advise you before you go into this hotel, rethink!

11/10/2025: Marvellous small hotel overlooking the ladies beach. Great restaurant, lovely owners and staff.

06/12/2025: My new favourite bar in Killarney. Very glad we only live an hour from here. The Murphys was excellent (the best in Kerry). Staff here were very friendly. Great cosy bar, but just push the door that sticks on your way out or in.

12/11/2025: I took refuge inside during a downpour. Very good pub. Mixed crowd, with locals and tourists. Prices are great.

17/12/2025: Nice grayhound stadium, but still quite after the covid 19 lockdown's

25/09/2025: Loved it. Always a special treat. Very nice meal, and the buzz of the races and being able to bet ( and get your winnings) right at the table. Highly recommended
