Sizzlerz Steakhouse
An daingean
18/05/2025: A welcome oasis of food options!
15/05/2025: Food was ok. Nothing special.
Also had dubai chocolate latte to go but very underwhelming.
Service can be improved. A lot of staffs are standing or walking around rather than being attentive. Waiting for a bit to order because waitresses just walked past one place to another without really checking what’s needed.
Tables are quite cramped each other in the main dining area. Group spaces are available but limited to one or two.

The Garden Bar
Killarney
31/05/2025: Delicious food, excellent service and the best wine
25/05/2025: Waited 40 mins to get food, 3 courses arrived 1 dinner was the wrong order sent it back and waitress another 15 mins . I had invited visitors to join me and was embarrassed this is the service offered in a 5 star hotel. We ordered 3 starters / 2 goat’s cheese where there were 3 tiny balls if goats cheese and 4 bits of beetroot for €18 euro. We never received a wine list but when we asked for a bottle of the house white we paid €46 which I thought was extremely expedient the lower priced wine but as I say we didn’t get a wine list so…. I left disappointed and embarrassed to show case Killarney’s in this manner.

O'Connor's Cloghane
20/05/2025: Great place to relax great food and drink and the people and staff are so helpful
20/05/2025: We used their campsite.
Oh dear, a diamond in the rough.
Absolutely fantastic location but the site needs a good spruce up and facilities modernising. €30/nt is simply too much.
Remove the paid for showers, tidy the dilapidated outhouses, weed the pitches.
Pub decor fantastic but no ale or cider on tap - ran out…c’mon!

Ristorante Uno
Tralee
05/05/2025: So my partner myself and my little girl came here after swimming in the beach we were greeted by a very friendly staff member.
We had order the steak baguette the chicken kebab and the tiger prawns and desert and two drinks each. I personally pride myself on been a good cook but after trying the food in uno's I frankly came to the realisation that my cooking isn't up to the standards of uno's as the food that was served was absolutely divine .
Presentation was amazing and the sizes were huge I was expecting to pay about 80euro for my food and was kinda in shock when the cashier told me that all my food was under 50euro.
My little girl woke up today and she wanted to go back today for there food even tho we personally live 200km away but now I know we will have a go out place to eat when we do go back down.
26/04/2025: Great food. A very enjoyable night out.

07/12/2024: Rossbeigh Bar: A Timeless Gem in Glenbeigh, Kerry
Rossbeigh Bar in Glenbeigh, County Kerry, holds a special place in my heart. For as long as I can remember, it has been a family and friends' favourite spot, a place where we have gathered for good food, great drinks, and even better company. Over the years, this charming pub has become more than just a place to grab a pint—it’s a cherished part of my memories, and I continue to visit every time I return to the beautiful village of Glenbeigh.
A Warm Welcome
One of the things I love most about Rossbeigh Bar is the warmth of the welcome. From the moment you step through the door, you’re greeted with friendly smiles and an atmosphere that feels like home. The staff are always attentive, quick with a laugh, and eager to make sure you feel comfortable. It’s the kind of place where, whether you’re a regular or a newcomer, you’re treated like part of the family. This welcoming atmosphere has kept me coming back over the years, and it’s one of the reasons why Rossbeigh Bar stands out in the area.
The Food: Simple, Delicious, and Always Fresh
Rossbeigh Bar has a fantastic food menu that has never disappointed me, no matter what I’m in the mood for. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed everything from hearty traditional Irish dishes to lighter fare, always knowing that the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. The seafood here, in particular, is exceptional. Being located near the coast, the pub takes full advantage of the fresh catch of the day, offering delicious fish dishes that reflect the best of Kerry’s coastal produce. The fish and chips are a personal favourite—crispy, perfectly cooked, and always served with a generous portion of tartar sauce.
Aside from the seafood, the traditional Irish dishes, like stew and lamb, are comforting and flavorful. There’s nothing like sitting by the fire with a hearty plate of food after a long day of exploring the stunning scenery around Glenbeigh. The portions are always generous, and the meals are filling, making it the perfect place to refuel after a day of hiking, beach walking, or taking in the sights of the Ring of Kerry.

The pub also regularly hosts live music, and the atmosphere is always vibrant when the local musicians perform. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a pint while listening to traditional Irish tunes or contemporary hits in the heart of Kerry. It’s a true reflection of the local culture, and it always makes my visit to Rossbeigh Bar that much more enjoyable.
