13/08/2026: Beautiful fresh fish. We went for the platter and although its meant for 1 person we shared between two and it was more than enough for a lunch. Absolutely delicious

12/08/2026: The service was quick and professional. The waitstaff was on their game. However, I left disappointed. The fish I had was fine. The veggie side portion was small, so I ordered extra, which came right away. I was disappointed because this meal was expensive for the atmosphere of the restaurant. This is going to sound critical, hear me out. Silverware wrapped in a paper napkin, paper cups for the sauces, no table cloth. It had a low class feel for a high price. I ate at two other "fine dining" establishments in Dingle, one was the same cost, and the other was actually less. I don't mind paying for a nice meal, well prepared and presented. At 60 euros (after tip, no alcohol) it was a pricey dinner for one person with a single paper napkin. Oh, and the ice crusher on the bar right behind me. Come on, crush ice in the back room, for goodness sakes.

05/09/2026: This café has been the source of some of my best memories in Tralee. The staff are always friendly and the food warms you from the inside. I had belgian waffles and my sister had a BLT and they were the best of both either of us had in a long time. The vanilla milkshake tasted like it was lovingly handmade. I would die for whoever made this milkshake.

18/08/2026: Nice little café. Porridge was great and the americano was really good too. Certainly reasonable prices. Nothing to complain about really except I asked the owner/manager to open one hour earlier the following day because I had a bus to catch. He declined.

28/11/2025: We were on holiday and staying in Milltown for 3 nights and decided we wanted to go grab some food and drinks at a local pub. We stopped at Larkin's Pub and immediately we knew we were in the right place the owner Mike helped us immediately and was full of great information of places to see around the area. We also came back a couple nights later on Wednesdays they have traditional Irish music being played right in the bar. Was great to listen to had great drinks and the locals were fun to talk with. If you're in the area stop by and see Mike and the rest of his crew. Tell him the farmer from Oregon sent you.

25/10/2025: Lovely Pub. I was on the way from Tralee we stop for a quick bite, good pub grub! Toasted sandwich with chips & salad, fire was blazing needed on a cold October evening. The Guinness looked good. Friendly staff and customers.

12/06/2025: Nice atmosphere and a small selection of house beers. Unfortunately, not all of them were tasty, as we're used to better ones in Germany. Still, it's worth a visit and trying a few. It's best to order 3 or 6 flights to try the different beers. You'll then receive 3 or 6 1/3 pints of your choice, respectively, for either €8 or €16.

04/09/2026: Good spot! I ordered bacon and maple syrup pancakes and they were to die for! Hot chocolate pairs well with them. Staff were friendly, the place was clean, atmosphere very friendly and cozy, the food was good.

03/09/2026: Today I had a fine onion soup and a delicious, generously topped toasted sandwich. The Americano coffee was decent. Polite service, and a small mistake when taking the order was corrected quickly and without any hassle. Worth coming back!

27/07/2026: Went there for a family celebration, there was 10 of us. The food was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough to help and make sure we had a lovely evening. Our two waiters were very good and kind, a credit to the restaurant.

15/07/2026: I booked this hotel for a work trip because I have a budget to stick to. The hotels online photos and trip advisor photos do this place no justice. What I expected was a very basic old style hotel. When I arrived I genuinely thought I was at the wrong hotel. I cannot believe this is only a three-star hotel. My room is beautiful, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail is unreal. White Company toiletries, plush bathrobes, a Dyson-style hairdryer, even a clothes steamer—these are the sort of touches that might not even be available in hotels charging several times the price. I’ve stayed in plenty of five-star hotels that don’t get the basics this right. Everything feels thoughtful, beautifully presented and genuinely luxurious. Tonight has been an education to myself that sometimes the best stays come with the fewest stars. My only complaint is that everything is too nice and I haven’t done any work!
