27/02/2026: I was staying in tralee and stopped in Listowel on the way, it was early nearly 12 so not much open but Jumbos was open. We went in, about 5 of us and the food was lovely, I also admired their stance on The Gaza war and boycotting Coca-Cola no takeaways in Galway do that. It was brilliant

10/11/2025: Some of the nicest hot chocolate, mocha's and chocolate cake around. With the friendliest and kindest staff. We had finished our food and it started lashing rain as we got outside. We had 2 yiung kids with us. The staff kindly told us to sit back down until it had stopped, and didnt mind us taking up a table on a very busy day. Hence we repeatedly come back here on every trip to killarney! We miss it when it closes for winter!!

19/04/2026: Disappointing experience. Due to fuel protests and road closures, travel to Killarney became impractical, and my citizenship ceremony was cancelled. Despite explaining this in advance, the hotel offered no flexibility and declined any refund, stating they could not resell the room. What stood out was the lack of understanding in a situation clearly outside a guest’s control, especially when other hotels in Killarney handled similar cases more reasonably. Policies are expected, but so is basic fairness. Unfortunately, that was missing here.

28/12/2025: Even though im working in tralee i have only had the opportunity to dine there 3 times & couldn't find fault with it. Fantastic food and great food presentation, very clean spot. Definitely going back.

22/11/2025: Wow. Food was fantastic. Everything served very quickly. even the place was full. Teriyaki chicken burger and french toast are definitely the winners. Potato wedges just perfectly fried. Service very profesional and friendly. Will be back when next time in Tralee. Thank you guys.

07/04/2026: Absolutely delicious, locally sourced food in a beautiful setting. Several great vegan and vegetarian options, although we opted for the croquettes and goat cheese appetizers and the seafood pappardelle, venison and duck. Fantastic experience!

06/04/2026: The food was great and the view outside was amazing. How ever the service was not the best the waitress seemed distracted. When she served our meal I asked for another drink and 20 minutes later she came back and I asked her about my drink she said she forgot then went to get it.By the time I got my drink I was almost done with my food. The bar down stairs was way better.

23/09/2025: Best Night of sleep I've had in weeks. Beds are so comfortable. Best shower I've had in weeks. And such nice service all around. Everyone is so friendly. Definitely recommend.

19/09/2025: We got a spice box which is not an Irish spice box. Not enough peppers or onions or spice. The burger was good enough, but not worth 9.50, if it included chips it might have been more of an appropriate price. The service was very good.

06/04/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance during our Ireland road trip and were very happy with it. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom large and lovely. The attached pub offers excellent food and, of course, drinks with live music – and the superb breakfast is also served there. We felt completely at home!

19/03/2026: I was here for the second time today, once to get something sweet and once to get something savory. For the sweet treat, I had a chocolate brownie with some ice cream and was absolutely delighted: incredibly delicious and melted in your mouth, no complaints there. However, I was only moderately impressed with the lunch. Aside from the fact that most of the menu consisted of seafood with fries (which isn't a criticism, just an observation), I ordered a salad with salmon. Somehow, I had imagined the salad a bit differently, as it was described as a "Smoked Salmon Salad" and ultimately arrived as a separate salad with some bread alongside the sliced ​​salmon. But that's probably more due to my own expectations than the dish itself. What prompted my review, though, was that I discovered two moldy blueberries in my salad. To be honest, that completely put me off my food. I reported it immediately, and they offered a brief apology, but it came across as rather annoyed, which I found disappointing in retrospect. The service was otherwise fine, as everyone was quite friendly. Price-wise, I think the desserts were reasonable, but the salad was, in my opinion, too expensive for what was actually on the plate. Therefore, I would only really recommend it for the desserts (perhaps the fish and chips are better, but unfortunately I didn't try them and can't comment on that). Hope this helps a little :)

01/03/2026: A travesty!! Warning*** they dont have proper chippy chips!!! Such a shame as the fish was lovely, crispy, even batter, very nice but oven style chips which are horrible and unexpected from a fish n chippery!! Chips are a big part of the dish and oven ones aint right so i'd not return or recommend based on that. Staff and atmospere great and i liked that they serve alcohol too

13/10/2025: Still dreaming of our delicious Chocolate Guinness cake from our wedding… Gary was a pleasure to work with and even designed the cake to match the flowers on my dress. The cake was moist and the buttercream was not too sweet, just perfect. Setup was seamless and the cake was ready in our ballroom by the time we arrived for dinner. Highly recommend!

02/10/2025: O’Carroll’s Bakery came through for us on short notice with the most delicious vegan cupcakes. My daughter was thrilled to have a safe, egg-free treat for her granddad’s birthday. Wonderful service and amazing cupcakes—we’ll definitely be back!
