12/11/2025: Lovely staff and activities onsite . Beautiful location

11/11/2025: It's a dream hotel, in a beautiful location, and the staff are fantastic. They made us feel right at home. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, which was a great choice, as the food was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our English isn't very good, and they immediately found Spanish-speaking staff to give us the information we needed. At reception, the two employees were very kind and helpful. Jaime was absolutely delightful; he made our stay easy and went out of his way to help us. Thank you so much, Jaime, and I also want to thank the waiters in Marbella and the lovely waitress at dinner.

12/11/2025: We had the second day of our wedding in Courtney’s and can’t recommend the lads highly enough. We were so well looked after and DJ and Ian made sure we had everything we needed from the get go. Highly recommend for any function in the town.

03/01/2026: Went to a wedding here. Absolutely outstanding. The location, the rooms, the dining experience. Staff were exceptional. Hotel is spotless & on a quiet location on the muckross road. Breakfast was good too. Great experience as guests at a wedding.

12/12/2025: What a fantastic experience. The staff were so nice the food was fantastic. Only sidenote is the need to update these ancient hand dryers need to go!!

28/10/2025: The Fujianese owner is kind. He makes great fried noodles with shrimp and beef, and drinks cola. If you're passing by, you can stop by.

20/11/2025: After ordering food and getting home this is the size of chips that come with adult meals now. 38 euro and this is what you are now getting in meals not even half a bag of chips.

04/02/2026: Left an item out of my order .Requested lettuce on on a burger and they put everything except lettuce on it.

18/01/2026: There was hardly any tables and i had to sit at d kids tables then once i got my food i got no straw napkins or salt the table i had to sit at the kids table was also dirty overall not a great time

13/08/2025: It was a lovely place to sit and enjoy some amazing coctails and great food. The place is cosy and quite big and the staff is really friendly.

11/08/2025: We stopped in for lunch at a this café bar in Killarney town. It was extremely busy, which is always a good sign, but unfortunately, the customer care and personal touch were lacking this time. Staff seemed rushed and a little detached, which took away from the overall experience. That said, the food itself was very nice, and we will return, hopefully next time with a bit more warmth in the welcome to match the quality on the plate.

19/11/2025: My husband David and I stayed in the Coachman’s Townhouse in mid October 2025. It is a great little gastropub hotel, with a fantastic atmosphere and food. We had fish chowder for dinner, and of course Guinness. Siobhan, the owner is extremely efficient, the way she runs the place is amazing. She has also a great knowledge of whiskeys, and hospitality business altogether. The breakfast was equally excellent. The room was very clean and cosy. We recommend this small family run hotel 100%. Thanks so much!

06/12/2025: My new favourite bar in Killarney. Very glad we only live an hour from here. The Murphys was excellent (the best in Kerry). Staff here were very friendly. Great cosy bar, but just push the door that sticks on your way out or in.

12/11/2025: I took refuge inside during a downpour. Very good pub. Mixed crowd, with locals and tourists. Prices are great.

13/07/2025: Esta fue nuestra primera experiencia cenando en The Horseshoe después de muchos años de simplemente "tomar bebidas" en este popular pub de Kenmare. En busca de mejillones con salsa picante los encontramos en Horseshoe. Una salsa de chile y chorizo que estaba perfecta. Los mejillones estaban cocinados en su punto justo, de modo que todos menos uno se abrieron, pero permanecieron regordetes y sabrosos en la salsa picante que estaba distribuida uniformemente sobre ellos. He probado porciones más grandes de mejillones en otros pubs, pero rara vez una salsa picante con mucho cuerpo que te pidiera que comieras la salsa que quedaba como sopa después de haber comido todos los mariscos. Nuestro mayor cumplido siempre es: "Volveremos".

10/06/2025: Gran lugar. Parece un restaurante una vez que estás en la puerta, no dejes que esto te desanime. Muy agradable. Gran stout. Muy agradable, personal amable. Comí unas pintas antes y luego volví para la cena, que estaba delicioso.
