22/08/2025: Thursday night we stayed after 12 when the back bar turns into a disco. Wacky mix of American tunes you didn't know you needed to dance to.

13/09/2025: Great spot to enjoy a burger and shake! Staff was kind, food was quick, and food was SPOT ON! They seem to have a limited menu, but they have it perfected.

10/09/2025: "I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best burger I've had today. The burger was good, the fries were hot and golden — like a reliable sidekick you’d definitely miss if they weren’t there. The wine? It was there, existing, doing its best — just like me on a Monday. But colder and whiter. All in all, nothing fancy, nothing fussy, just solid happiness on a plate. Five stars for making me forget I had salad in the fridge."

29/06/2025: We went to The Brasserie for Lunch recently .On arrival we were warmly greeted , seated promptly and given menus . Our food and drinks orders were taken swiftly . The ambience was good and everything was spotlessly clean . The service was 5 Star . Donal the Supervisor and his crew went above and beyond providing excellent customer service to our table and the tables around us . The food we had was of excellent quality and arrived piping hot in a timely manner . Our favorite part of the meal was the Homemade Strawberry Meringue Roulade . It was out of this world followed by freshly brewed coffee . The bathrooms were immaculate with plentiful hot water , soap and hand drying facilities . In fact they were the cleanest and most well maintained bathrooms I have seen in a long time . Overall I could only rate the experience as 5 Star and if you are visiting Tralee , The Brasserie is well worth a visit .

28/08/2025: Seafood chowder is delicious. Fish and chips excellent. We ate here several times and loved everything we tried.

02/08/2025: We were here quite early on a Friday evening. Folk still leaving work ahead of a bank holiday weekend. There were only a few customers in at the time. A lot of reserved tables for later. The furnishings are mainly wooden chairs set around square tables, not very inviting when the pub is quiet. The food was spot on. Good choice, reasonable prices for the area and very nice. Four of us had different meals, we were impressed by taste, portion size and service. Beer and cider choice is better than some.

10/10/2025: Just a great place to eat and a experience. They are unashamedly a Chinese restaurant that looks like and acts like one, ie no modern decor. Food is strong and service is excellent, its our go to place

06/10/2025: I went to Phoenix Palace with my husband and friend, both from Hong Kong. According to them, this is the REAL DEAL! And I agree! The atmosphere evokes a Chinese restaurant that has been around for a long time with a little wear and tear and a lot of authenticity. The ornate decorative style is very classic and makes you feel like you are in for a very authentic dining experience. The extensive menu offers classic Cantonese cuisine as well as regional specialties. We went to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and it was the perfect choice. Check it out! 🍂🍁🥮🎉✨

10/09/2025: We are travelling in south west Ireland and opted for Charlie Foleys as it was a pub with food and rooms. The only food on offer was pizza and the room was very disappointing considering how much we paid. It was dingy with ill assorted furniture and the hair dryer was missing the flexible tube for the hot air. I found the tube in the wardrobe!! The bathroom was very small with the danger of hitting your chin on the washbasin as you sat down on the toilet. The pub itself looked fine and I'm sure the atmosphere would be great if there was some music which, it turned out, was only on the weekends. A lot of money for not very much.

07/07/2025: Oh the smells. Bought some plain scones and jam biscuits. So nice and fresh. Excellent range of baking. Very nice lady served.

03/07/2025: They did an amazing job for our wedding! Our wedding cake turned out exactly as we had imagined — it looked and tasted fantastic. They also did, as we wish a beautiful small birthday cake for our nephew, who had his birthday at the same date, which was a lovely extra touch. Everything was perfect, and the price was very fair. We couldn’t have asked for more and would definitely recommend them! Laura & Paudie

08/05/2025: Very hardworking and polite workers in this takeaway. The burgers were quick, tasty and served with a smile quickly and in a dine in container. At 6.60 for 2 cheeseburgers you are a hard marker if you are able to complain.
