Best fish and chips I’ve ever had, very nice scenery as well

We visit Herbert’s Fish & Chips in Killarney every year, and it’s always a highlight of our trip. This year, however, someone in our group was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, and we were disappointed thinking they would have to miss out on one of our favourite traditions. I was honestly nervous about asking whether they had any gluten-free options, but I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The staff were knowledgeable and reassuring, explaining that they have a dedicated fryer for gluten-free food and even offer fish that is unbattered safe for people with celiac disease. Being able to enjoy the same classic fish and chips experience together meant so much to our group. The food was delicious as always, and the extra care they take to accommodate those with celiac disease made this visit even more memorable. A huge thank you to the team at Herbert’s for making everyone feel included. If you’re looking for great fish and chips and need a celiac-friendly option, I highly recommend them!

The food and service was great the cost of food like everything else and shrinkflation has greatly impacted everywhere. Sadly I think gone are the days that you can take your family for fish and chips 75.00 for two people to eat fish and chips plus the drive out there is a bit costly. But it's happening everywhere every restaurant is expensive now

The fish & chips were so good! We got regular and a gluten free mini meals. Great prices. And had a nice time sitting at the harbor eating them.

I don't think I ever had a better, fresher, tastier white fish
