Foleys in Kenmare

Amazing afternoon meal in Foleys yesterday. The staff were excellent and the owner was so welcoming. Menu is very extensive and offers a delicious range of food. The cocktails were incredible. My friend’s father stayed there and said the bedrooms were stunning. Highly recommend Foleys for anyone staying in Kenmare or anyone who wants to dine or have a drink there. I visit it every time I am down and I will definitely be back in the future.

A great Restaurant and Bar, great food, Perfect and Kind service. We had the Seafood Pie today for Dinner, full of tasty and many kind of seafood like shrimps 🍤 and salmon 🍣. Especially I want to mention the waitress, she was so kind, attentive, friendly and funny, besides of the food the service is worth it to visit it.

The pub is cozy. We were only there for food, though. The food was good, and the prices were similar to other pubs. Afterwards, there was live music. Patrick Foley. It was really good.

The welcome was very warm and the location pleasant. The rooms are a bit dated and some amenities could use updating, particularly the shower water which was only lukewarm. Also be aware: the music from the restaurant directly below is quite loud in the evening until 11 pm. Personally, it didn't bother me, but it might be a nuisance for early risers.

Great location with great food. Staff was helpful and always available. Room was clean and well equipped. We faced the street which was great for us.

We were spending a couple of days at the Kenmare Bay hotel earlier this month, and dropped in at Foley's for a traditional meal and music. Ended up spending longer than planned! Our server Nadia made us feel very welcome, and we really enjoyed the live music, too! Many a familiar song to join in with. For dinner we had Shepherd's pie, which we liked, and Irish stew, which was perhaps a little greasy for our liking. Nadia recommended their apple pie for desert, and that was a nice wrap to the evening.

We received a wonderful welcome after 10 pm, following a problem with our campervan. The next morning, the breakfast manager was very friendly and treated us like royalty.
