Excellent excellent old school diner, with gorgeous, friendly, smiley staff. Well done for keeping places like this alive guys!

It doesn't look like much, but don't let that put you off 😁 it's fried and very good, plus the portions are sufficient, you sit down and then you go and place your order, simple and efficient!

I only had one cup of tea, but it's a great place to have it in the morning. If you ask, they'll even pour water over your tea bag. It's still strong enough. But the best thing is the friendly service and the radio station RTE Gold. 🙃

We had fish and chips and it was very good: small and cozy terrace, delicious fish, good service and price

Food was served quickly and the staff were friendly, but the chips were flavourless and tasted like cardboard. Also quite packed with babies crying, etc.

If you like fast food, this is the place for you. But if you're looking for something more like seafood or different cuisine, I wouldn't recommend it. The food is very similar to a Shake Dog, but twice the price. I ordered two beef burgers and nuggets for my daughter and paid almost €50.

Super, super delicious and rich chowder served by a great staff. It was quick and not very expensive. The burger was also nice as well as the fries. I recommended!

Danno's

25/09/2025: The seafood chowder was rich with lots of seafood in a tasty base The servers were very nice and efficient
03/09/2025: Nice place to have different types of food. We had chicken wings as starter that were marinated with hoisin sauce (Asian style) and we had the mussels in Asian style - also really delicious!

The Boatyard Restaurant

12/10/2026: It was one of the best seafood plate, I have ever ate.
06/10/2026: Mussels were very good but everything else was underwhelming for the price paid
