Dooleys in Waterville-spunkane

Went there Thursday evening, food was so good!! Service was very good, never forgotten about it and we were at the back, lovely views! We loved it, will definitely be back when we return again to Kerry!! If they had chunky chips instead of skinny it’d be even better!!

If you have one night in Waterville, this is the place to be. Incredibly friendly service, cold beers, and great food. It was the only place we ate at multiple times on our trip. I’ll be looking forward to my next visit to the town for a number of reasons, but one of them will always be for a night at Dooley’s!

We wanted to go to Dooley's because my husband really wanted to try oysters. However, the season was almost over. We ate something else, like the seafood pie, and everything was delicious. Even the salad that came with it was very good. The owner even brought my husband an oyster to try after all. Truly excellent service.

Everything was amazing about this restaurant. We had roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast spud and delicious veggies with gravy. Baileys cheesecake for pudding!! The view is amazing too. Highly recommended!! Thank you!!

Lovely location nice decor food was good but basic seems to cater for a lot of coach tours

Lovely restaurant with an amazing view over the ocean. Price is definitely on the higher end, but to be honest all of the food was divine so I’d say it’s justifiable. It wasn’t clear on the menu but every 2 portions come with an extra side from what the waitresses explained to us. Service was really fast and the girls were super tentative and the owner/manager was always coming in to check on us. I also had an Irish coffee & played some darts upstairs after. Was a lovely atmosphere & evening, so would definitely return.

Had a wonderful dining experience here. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. There was a slight wait for our food, but it was absolutely worth it, everything was fresh, flavourful, and well-prepared. Quality over speed, and we appreciated that. What really set this place apart was the staff going above and beyond. They took time to share tips about the local area, nearby attractions, and places worth visiting. It’s that kind of personal touch that makes a meal memorable. Would happily recommend and visit again.
