O'Connor's Bar in Kenmare

Lovely pint of Guinness and a friendly little place. Loved it!

We unexpectedly broke down right in front of this pub, and what could have been a stressful situation turned into a genuinely positive experience thanks to the incredibly kind owner. He checked on us regularly while we waited for the tire service and made sure we were okay the whole time. He even offered that we could take our time to explore the town while he kept an eye on our car. The outdoor seating area in front of the pub was also really comfortable and inviting, making the whole situation much more pleasant. Truly outstanding hospitality — 10/10, highly recommended!

Traditional pub, the locals were fun to be around. Helpful guests made us feel really welcome.

Myself and my Husband on a trip down to Kenmare from Dublin. We were recommended this pub for a great pint of Guinness. We stopped off on our way back to our hotel thinking we would have one for the road which turned into many for the road. Jimmy the barman was a legend with great stories on the history of the pub and his connection to it. Its pubs, barmen and the locals like this that make us want to go back, which we did for the duration of our stay..now I say Jimmy is glad to see the back of me 🤣 but we will be back.

Great night's here with my wife. We spent 5 nights in Kenmare. Stopped by at every chance. Not sure if they do food but the pints of Guinness were beautiful. Jimmy the owner, a legend. He was born at the premises and can ye tell a story or two. Thanks Jimmy hope we meet again.
