It was ok, I found the ice cream kind of watery like not as creamy as you would want it to be. I do think Murphys is nicer and they are similar in price. I had two flavours and another evening the soft whip. The service is good.

The best Honeycomb ice cream of all. I tried Murphy's and and a Gelato shop's honeycomb ice cream, and this shop's was the best by miles. I'm dreaming about it here in the states.

The Bold Thady Quill

09/06/2026: I didn’t stay here but the staff helped me out with a problem I had for 3 days while in town. Offered me a choice of coffee for free, and a lovely lobby to wait in. The management here is top notch.
04/06/2026: Such a beautiful hotel and welcoming staff. We have a guide dog and they had a fluffy bed for him. The breakfast is delicious and you cannot beat a better location in Kenmare!
