The best restaurants in Kerry

09/04/2026: I loved the veggie wrap from the menu. I sometimes especially went to McDonald's for that meal. Unfortunately this meal was taken out of the menu. Now the only wegetarian option is McPlant. Only one option and sugar, sugar, sugar. I used to respect McDonald's for promoting meatless meals but they don't do it anymore. So there's no point for me to go back there.

16/10/2025: Hello, It's a shame that for our last stop we were disappointed by our stay at your hotel. On your advice, we had booked through your website (confirmed by email from you) that breakfast was included. "Tom," I believe, refused us breakfast for the next morning. We had until 9 p.m. for dinner, and we arrived before 9 p.m. You told us the kitchens were closed so we could enjoy your famous pizzas. Finally, the room was very noisy, the window did not at all insulate from the noise of the road next to a very busy road! A shame about our last evening, a bad experience. Night of October 14-15, 2025 I'm not used to reviews, but our travel planner advised us to let you know about our disappointing visit. 19/08/2025: Everything was amazing. The views are unreal. The food is phenomenal. I had the carrot and parsnip soup with homemade brown bread and then the fish on a bed of lentils for main. An-bhlasta ar fad!

The average wage is stuck around €16 an hour. If you think a chef—a skilled professional—is going to cook you a high-quality meal for pocket change when their own costs are upwards of €20–€30 per household head, you’re living in a fantasy land. The Lowdown: The Food: It’s incredible. Fresh fish, crab claws that actually taste like the ocean, and portions that don't leave you hungry. This is a family-run gem, not a factory. The Vibe: Proper traditional Irish hospitality. Cosy, warm, and authentic. The Price Tag: Expect to pay €50–€60 per person for a full experience. The Verdict: Ireland is not a cheap country. Quality costs money. If you can’t afford to pay for the talent in the kitchen and the atmosphere of a place like Sacre Coeur, you have two very simple options: Get a job that pays better. Go to McDonald’s. The Euro Saver menu exists for a reason and it suits some people just fine. But if you want a real dinner in a gorgeous village like Sneem, stop complaining and pay the price for the quality you're getting. If you don't like it, go elsewhere. For the rest of us who appreciate great food—this place is a must-visit.

08/04/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Phoenix Palace, food was delicious and full of flavor, and staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. A special mention to Barsha and Devendra, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. It’s the perfect place to enjoy great food in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!

12/06/2025: Nice atmosphere and a small selection of house beers. Unfortunately, not all of them were tasty, as we're used to better ones in Germany. Still, it's worth a visit and trying a few. It's best to order 3 or 6 flights to try the different beers. You'll then receive 3 or 6 1/3 pints of your choice, respectively, for either €8 or €16.

20/04/2026: A very pretty hotel. Downstairs public areas are very lovely and attractive. The food was decent and service amazing.The room was another matter. There was mold in the bathroom, no room to leave toiletries by the sink, dust in the closet, damp smell everywhere. The eggs tasted microwaved. The service was great though.
