20/08/2026: Classic Irish pub, fairly good food, each thing needed *just* a little bit of salt. However, the bar is top-notch with a fantastic array of whiskeys.

08/09/2026: Phoned to see if they were open,lady kindly reserved me a chowder,and heated it up for me. €7. Delicious,packed full of seafood. Ate it on Fenit beach as owners suggested. What a great find.

17/08/2026: Absolutely amazing fish and chips and tempura prawns! Chips, proper, proper! With lovely weather sat outside on benches provided, beautiful views and no service charge! Only complaint, the take away is only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday!!!! Suggest, ringing through order for collection as very busy.

23/08/2026: Good coffee nd breakfast Full breakfast was small for the cost: 13.90e+coffee =16:90 recommend: bit more added to the plate: after people going home or traveling long hours. Nice friendly staff. Cafe had majority of things available

25/07/2026: My friend and I ate there today. I finished my meal before her. The employee came over and took away my plate and quipped that the dishwasher would not be needed for it. As a grown woman, I’m not accustomed to personal remarks being made about how much I have eaten.

29/05/2026: This was the local recommended spot for Fish and Chips, and boy were they right!! The fish was so fresh and fluffy and the chips were crispy and salty. It was so good!!

06/08/2026: Hands‑down the best fish and chips we’ve ever eaten — the sauces were delicious, the fish perfectly fried (crispy, tasty, and not greasy at all), and the fries a solid 10/10. If we hadn’t been so full (the portion was huge), we would definitely have tried their desserts and drinks as well, because they looked gorgeous. Impeccable service, too.

31/08/2026: Hands down the best pastries on the Ring of Kerry. We were blown away by the selection and quality. Everything was so fresh. We couldn’t help ourselves and purchased two pastries each but we should have bought two of everything.

04/08/2026: I got an assortment of treats today! Some were lovely- especially the cupcakes and custard pastry. We did not enjoy the rocky road or brownie. Unfortunately there was an overpowering taste from the cooking chocolate used in its making. The artificial sweetness wasn’t enjoyable.

13/07/2026: We were treated very kindly and courteously, despite being clearly identifiable as tourists (wearing "Pubs of Ireland" T-shirts). Great live music! The pub doesn't serve food.

16/06/2026: Best pub ever, very friendly owners and locals, we absolutely loved it! We were a group of tourists from Italy and felt so welcome we never wanted to leave.

16/10/2025: Hello, It's a shame that for our last stop we were disappointed by our stay at your hotel. On your advice, we had booked through your website (confirmed by email from you) that breakfast was included. "Tom," I believe, refused us breakfast for the next morning. We had until 9 p.m. for dinner, and we arrived before 9 p.m. You told us the kitchens were closed so we could enjoy your famous pizzas. Finally, the room was very noisy, the window did not at all insulate from the noise of the road next to a very busy road! A shame about our last evening, a bad experience. Night of October 14-15, 2025 I'm not used to reviews, but our travel planner advised us to let you know about our disappointing visit. 17/07/2026: We came here to watch Gaelic football. The bar is huge and had plenty of screens to watch the game. It was a hot day and we cooled off in the air con and with a cold cider. The crowd was fun and we'd definitely come back!
