11/11/2025: Food was excellent, service was great. Pizza was delicious.

05/11/2025: This was the only restaurant we could get into late at night without a reservation in Dingle the night we were there. I ordered an antipasta dish as an appetizer which was very minimal and not worth the money (I could do better with grocery store items with a better display). For my main course, I ordered the meat & cheese tortellini, which was edible but nothing fancy or worth the 17.50 euro spent. There's much better restaurants to explore in the area.

18/10/2025: The best coffee I had in Ireland so far, opens early that was perfect since I was attending a conference and the staff were so polite

16/11/2025: Awesome local place. My partner and I were both roaming around and came across this find and the staff was lovely. However, we both did get sick after eating here. I had the beef stew and got food poisoning afterward, and my partner got sick too. I’m hoping this was just a random occurrence and/or something just affected me differently because it was really nice at the time of eating. Great staff, food choices, and atmosphere though.

21/09/2025: Excellent quality and selection of food. The space is clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly. If you're looking to get a bite to eat in Cahersiveen, I would recommend this place.

The average wage is stuck around €16 an hour. If you think a chef—a skilled professional—is going to cook you a high-quality meal for pocket change when their own costs are upwards of €20–€30 per household head, you’re living in a fantasy land. The Lowdown: The Food: It’s incredible. Fresh fish, crab claws that actually taste like the ocean, and portions that don't leave you hungry. This is a family-run gem, not a factory. The Vibe: Proper traditional Irish hospitality. Cosy, warm, and authentic. The Price Tag: Expect to pay €50–€60 per person for a full experience. The Verdict: Ireland is not a cheap country. Quality costs money. If you can’t afford to pay for the talent in the kitchen and the atmosphere of a place like Sacre Coeur, you have two very simple options: Get a job that pays better. Go to McDonald’s. The Euro Saver menu exists for a reason and it suits some people just fine. But if you want a real dinner in a gorgeous village like Sneem, stop complaining and pay the price for the quality you're getting. If you don't like it, go elsewhere. 22/11/2025: Stayed at the Dingle bay Hotel last night Friday 21st of November, 2025 & I must say it was the best my wife & I have been in, Every thing about it location 10/10 Room 10/10 lovely warm comfortable room, the staff were excellent & we have to mention the lovely Freshly cooked breakfast & the friendly happy staff that served. Sorry for going on but we couldn't say enough about the place Will definitely be back. Mike & Marie Keane

23/11/2025: Such an amazing hostel. The staff are wonderful. Extremely friendly, kind, warm and really welcoming. They are very informative and happy to help out with recommendations for things around Killarney and helping out with how to make the most out of your stay. The hostel itself is cozy, clean and spacious. Rooms have curtains and lockers (bring your own lock), mattresses are thick and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and food storage including both and oven,double burner stove top cabinets utensils and two fridges. The hostel has 4 pet dogs that roam around the bottom floors and are very sweet. The hostel is truly a great stay. 10/10 recommend and would absolutely return.

19/11/2025: It's a friendly place, I loved how much open area they had for guests to get comfortable in (inside amd outside) the dogs and chickens were a nice touch. We had issues with our bedroom door and the main door not being locked at night, it's a cute but older spot so very creaky.

03/10/2025: Wow. The staff here are just amazing, very thoughtful, caring, and professional. They should be highly commended. The food is just exceptional. I did not stay here but I had dinner here and I am blown away. I will definitely return to Ballygarry. 5 star effortlessly.

31/01/2026: I didn't stay at the hotel; we went to the gardens for €9.50, which I think is a rip-off. There are much cheaper or even free places in Ireland that are far more worthwhile. It looks like Jurassic Park after the dinosaurs have escaped. Completely neglected; if it were better maintained, it would be much more worthwhile. And it's a maze; we got lost several times. Best regards

07/12/2025: Had another fantastic stay , from start to finish it was luxurious, the comfort and warmth of this place will not be matched , the food again was just amazing , couldn’t recommend this place enough , this place operates on high standards for everything they do , top class . Looking forward to another start again soon

29/08/2025: A cozy little shop where they're very friendly and helpful. We tried to bring our stroller in, but it wouldn't fit through the door. They'd have removed it 😀 The food is good, nothing special, just good value for a reasonable price. Coffee refills are free.

25/07/2025: Basic (frozen) food for the high price paid (family of 5, 5 soft drinks). However staff were friendly and helpful. Appeared busy so we enjoyed eating outside with our dog in company. Suggestion to owner, have a dog bowl outside, please improve quality/freshness of food.

29/12/2025: Best pizzeria around, authentic Italian pizza with fantastic service!

02/11/2025: The ingredients appeared very fresh, and the pizza tasted relatively good. It seems like an easy place to grab a quality pizza when you’re in the mood for one.

27/06/2025: I fell in love, here you can really breathe the air of the Irish countryside. A pearl immersed in the greenery, surrounded by horses, cows and sheep. A quiet place and cared for in the smallest details. The owner was really kind and friendly, she was kind enough to advise us on the best tour to do to visit the area and she recommended excellent restaurants with typical cuisine. If you have to stop in the area, you will definitely not regret staying at Mountain view.
