12/09/2026: Excellent food Very tasty and just the right amount. Very obliging and helpful could not do enough for us. So much so to the point I asked to have a cheese sauce to accompany the cauliflower. Although this item was not on the menu they provided with no problem. Overall excellent food, excellent staff all round.

25/08/2026: A great place for breakfast. I particularly liked it because as well as the usual sweet stuff they had savouries, which is much more my style. They routinely whisked my savouries off to be reheated, which is fine by me but which might not suit everyone. Good coffee, fast service, reasonable price (a touch over 20 euro for the two of us) - we were regulars during our short stay.

09/10/2026: Massive store, stocks all the well-known brands, extensive refrigerated section, hot food available. Like the self-service tills.

07/08/2025: Arrived at 1:15 and had the place to ourselves. Best oysters we have had in Ireland, and that's high praise. Food was delicious, our server, John, was excellent, and cannot recommend highly enough.

05/08/2025: Absolutely terrific service and fabulous food. Good value too. Don't miss a meal here when visiting Killarney. The fish is first class and so fresh.

08/09/2026: Phoned to see if they were open,lady kindly reserved me a chowder,and heated it up for me. €7. Delicious,packed full of seafood. Ate it on Fenit beach as owners suggested. What a great find.

09/06/2026: This hotel is only facilitating weddings and events. If you are couples they don't want to know. We stayed on Friday and Saturday night. We were told because of a wedding Friday night we had to eat at 6:30pm in the bar. Fair enough we facilitated their request. Saturday we went in for lunch and were told we would be waiting at least an hour for lunch because of a 100 person funeral that were in. Needless to say we went into the village and had a lovely lunch and a few drinks. Lovely setting for a hotel but not very accommodating. Maybe just set yourself as an event destination rather than a couples hotel.

08/06/2026: Incredible environment, And amazing view

17/10/2026: Riney's Sneem Cream and Bar is not worth the visit on the Ring of Kerry. The ice cream isn't bad but the price they charge for the miserly small scoop they give you makes it a bit of a rip off!! And don't think of using the toilets (at least in the men's room) as there is no cold water tap and the hot water is scalding and will burn your hands!!
