16/10/2025: Hello, It's a shame that for our last stop we were disappointed by our stay at your hotel. On your advice, we had booked through your website (confirmed by email from you) that breakfast was included. "Tom," I believe, refused us breakfast for the next morning. We had until 9 p.m. for dinner, and we arrived before 9 p.m. You told us the kitchens were closed so we could enjoy your famous pizzas. Finally, the room was very noisy, the window did not at all insulate from the noise of the road next to a very busy road! A shame about our last evening, a bad experience. Night of October 14-15, 2025 I'm not used to reviews, but our travel planner advised us to let you know about our disappointing visit. The average wage is stuck around €16 an hour. If you think a chef—a skilled professional—is going to cook you a high-quality meal for pocket change when their own costs are upwards of €20–€30 per household head, you’re living in a fantasy land. The Lowdown: The Food: It’s incredible. Fresh fish, crab claws that actually taste like the ocean, and portions that don't leave you hungry. This is a family-run gem, not a factory. The Vibe: Proper traditional Irish hospitality. Cosy, warm, and authentic. The Price Tag: Expect to pay €50–€60 per person for a full experience. The Verdict: Ireland is not a cheap country. Quality costs money. If you can’t afford to pay for the talent in the kitchen and the atmosphere of a place like Sacre Coeur, you have two very simple options: Get a job that pays better. Go to McDonald’s. The Euro Saver menu exists for a reason and it suits some people just fine. But if you want a real dinner in a gorgeous village like Sneem, stop complaining and pay the price for the quality you're getting. If you don't like it, go elsewhere. For the rest of us who appreciate great food—this place is a must-visit.

12/02/2026: Got a gorgeous steak sandwich and my partner got the roast lamb, we were stunned at the amazing standard of this place! The new look creates an inviting atmosphere and the staff were the cherry on the cake. We were served by the lovely Muireann and Grainne who really gave us top class service! Couldn’t recommend this place more, I will definitely be returning

24/12/2025: We were a group of 8 family members, and we ordered both the main course and desserts. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this place, and if we plan any lunch or dinner in the future, this will definitely be our go-to spot.

15/12/2025: Staff nice food was nice had breakfast U get no pudding or hash browns with it tea toast and anything U don't eat U ask for extra you have to pay for it which is a bit unfair but it's reasonable price it's a small compact place

20/04/2026: Didn't really want american food in Ireland, but everything else was busy. This place has the best burgers I've had in a while. The hamburger beef & fries (chips) were great. We're from Texas so that's saying something. Our server was very busy, but we could see she was doing a great job.

05/05/2026: Im guessing this is a fair review. Be careful might be closed. This pub was closed due to death by owner.... Bit of a sticky situation we were told. But the nearby gas station has beer.

01/12/2025: September 2025 Coziest pub in Ireland that we stumbled upon on our bike tour. The owner was amazing and let us pitch our tent in a field nearby for the night. Can also recommend the café in the same building.

14/06/2026: We came from York for this Dim Sum and it was everything we wanted and more! Can't wait to come again.

09/06/2026: The manager, Leo, is extremely impolite and rude. Management should review his performance, as his behavior is having a very negative impact on the restaurant. This was a very disappointing experience, and I will definitely not be coming back.

02/06/2026: My wife and I had a lovely dinner at Caragh Restaurant. The service was impeccable, the Guiness was cold and creamy and the prices were more than reasonable. The fish and chips were excellent, lightly battered and tasty. The serving size was large. My wife had lasagna and it too was excellent.

22/05/2026: Unfortunately, we can't comment on the food. We were seated, and although the servers checked on the neighboring tables several times, we still hadn't received a menu after what felt like 10 minutes. We felt ignored, and they seemed surprised when we left.

11/06/2026: Very nice hotel, great photo ops around the river and bay, the rooms were mostly good aside from some plumbing issues, and the service was good as well. Would recommend and make sure to take the wonderful walk around the property!

09/06/2026: Stayed 2 nights in Marianne's Cottage and it was stunning! Definitely the highlight of our trip. Beautiful, huge rooms. Charming kitchen. Two fireplaces. Spectacular views. Loved it so much we decided to hang around most of the time rather than go out. Make sure to order the breakfast basket...so good!

12/06/2025: Nice atmosphere and a small selection of house beers. Unfortunately, not all of them were tasty, as we're used to better ones in Germany. Still, it's worth a visit and trying a few. It's best to order 3 or 6 flights to try the different beers. You'll then receive 3 or 6 1/3 pints of your choice, respectively, for either €8 or €16.
