The Anvil Bar in

Stayed here for a night, great value for money! Breakfast was great, also we got the best price for a pint in our whole trip through Ireland here. Liz was an amazing host and had brilliant tips and recommendations for our further travels. The place is a great starting point for exploring the Dingle Peninsula or going down the ring of Kerry. Would stay here again!

For the third time in roughly a month we have eaten here ,and yet again the food has been delicious.admittedly I have had a roast each time ,but I can't fault it ,the meat is superb , vegetables cooked to perfection,and albeit a little too much ,I still managed to have an extra spoon to assist with my husband's rather gorgeous cheesecake.

Great food. Fish slightly small but enough. Gravey for the Christmas dinear slightly strong but all the rest perfect.

We arrived very late to the area and could not find a restaurant open. The kitchen at The Anvil Bar & Restaurant was closed as well, but Carla and Liz took pity on us, and Stephen, the chef, cooked us a fabulous meal for which we will be forever grateful. The three of them treated us, tired Americans, with much kindness and also advised us of local activities in the area. In addition, they gave us excellent directions to our AirBnB which was far off the beaten path. Please excuse the late review and thanks again for your wonderful hospitality!

Lovely food, friendly service. Unfortunately on the off season food is only available Thursday-Sunday. Fantastic area out the back with a pool table.

Very nice place with good host! Food is coming super fast! I recomand the pasta.
