15/04/2025: Unfortunately the food wasn’t great the day we visited. The host was a very nice gentleman. We both got the steak sandwich which came on a very thin cut of toasted sourdough bread. Our steaks were cooked to the incorrect temperatures and were very bad cuts of meat. Maybe very cheap cuts rather than paying a bit extra for good produce. The price of the steak sandwich was €20 euro each so can definitely stretch the budget to buy better quality meat.
Disappointing as we were looking for a place to book lunch for our daughter’s confirmation. Will not return and wouldn’t recommend.
11/04/2025: The vegetable soup (cream soup) is exquisite! The girls who serve are very friendly and the atmosphere is very nice!

10/04/2025: We live in Tralee and were looking for something different. This restaurant is amazing! The food is fresh and homemade with the most incredible flavours. I had the chicken shish kebab with naan bread and my husband had the grill and thrill burger. We also got a side portion of fried rice. The food was authentic and delicious and some of the best we've had. The chef was lovely and described the curry menu to us. The service was spectacular. We can't wait to go back. We don't get the opportunity to go out to eat very often, and this was well worth it!

09/04/2025: I had an excellent salmon dish. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce, technically difficult, was delicious. Very pleasant and efficient service.
02/04/2025: Unfortunately disappointed. Our server made us feel rushed from sitting us down through service. Upon bringing drinks to the table, our server slammed my wine glass down to the point where I was shocked it didn’t break. My husband ordered the fish and chips and had to send it back because there were bones in the fish (never have had this happen anywhere else). Overall, overpriced for the experience.

11/01/2025: Gary made our wedding cake for us in December. The wedding cake was absolutely stunning! Not only was it beautifully designed, but it tasted incredible too. We couldn't have asked for a better cake to mark such an important occasion—highly recommend!

20/10/2024: Passed The Boathouse Bistro on a very stormy October afternoon. The restaurant is located in the grounds of Dromquinna Manor, right by the sea at a small harbor onto Kenmare Bay. The views are great, out across the bay and over along the Beara peninsula. The food was excellent, really good. My wife had a pot of prawns and chorizo and described it as a "pot of joy" 😂 Soup and Chowder were great, I had pulled pork squares which were delicious. Will be back!!! Just off the Ring of Kerry so very handy location. ⭐

16/03/2025: We had great expectations, went for early bird menu as times suited.
Menu was deceiving, had a glorified
sausage roll for main course. I honestly can't get over how poor it was.
Overall for €45 pp it was very disappointing (no drinks).
I am used to eating at nice restaurants however this was a shocking waste of money (terrible).
We won't be returning.
19/01/2025: My husband and I must have gone to Land to Sea in Dingle at a very good time. We really enjoyed our meal and we did the tasting menu. Keep in mind that this was previously a Michelin star restaurant so the presentation is an important element and a tasting menu is meant to allow the diner to enjoy multiple dishes without feeling bloated. Portion size is not as important as taste and appearance which were fantastic during our meal. The waitstaff was a bit on the short side so we enjoyed a leisurely meal with reasonable pacing. Really fantastic meal so I feel bad if the kitchen and front of house were not up to par for other diners. I definitely recommend dining here if you want a special meal.

21/03/2025: Great breakfast. Stopped here on the way from Killarney and we were not disappointed. Small menu but everything was really good. My daughter had the Nutella and Strawberry pancakes, my wife had the small Irish breakfast with gluten free bread and I had the avocado toast with bacon. Loved it all!!
07/03/2025: Quite overpriced for the portion size. Food was decent but French toast was soggy to the point of being mush. Music playing was horrific and too loud to ignore

08/03/2025: Our room was very clean with very comfortable beds, this helped us to stay an extra night! Charlotte was such a pleasant delightful lady and was so helpful with suggestions of what to do and see. The food is outstanding, the pizza is top notch! The Atlantic Ocean is just across the street with a wonderful beach to walk along! There is also a golf course and a castle ruin beside the Coastal Lodge.
