The best restaurants in Kerry

06/04/2026: This hotel was one of many on our trip and it was well located for Glenbeigh and Rossbeigh/ ring of Kerry. They seemed a little understaffed although the staff were friendly enough. We had an evening meal and breakfast with them the evening meal was excellent- we were sat in the dining room which we were grateful for as it was very noisy in the bar (sat of Easter weekend) but unfortunately was really cold! The evening meal was so good and the service was good. Breakfast was nice too- we had pancakes and fruit. There's no buffet option but good choice on the menu. Again the breakfast room was very cold! Unfortunately we didn't get a great night's sleep as our rooms (with a child) we're over the bar which was busy and loud until past 11. Also was lacking in charging points - there was one outlet in each room. Shower was good, tea & coffee making facilities in the room and plenty of storage and space for hanging wet items!

22/09/2025: Amazing food and really reasonable prices. While the savory food is (for my taste) a bit greasy, the sweet dessert are just amazing!

05/05/2026: 🚫SO RUDE⚠️Greedy... go to Murphys or Supervalu, Olde Sweet Shop, anywhere but here❌️ yes it was busy but my goodness I haven't met a pair that were as rude or as obnoxious in a long time. Ice cream was grand not near the best. Wanted your money and wanted you gone. I asked for a baby cone ordering for a group of five charged full price. A scoop my backside, its HALF a scope carefully scraped off and measured.. HALF .. genuinely. It was actually comical how mean they were. Never again especially with the competition for local ice cream. Keep your money and head in either direction and plenty more places to get ice cream and a smile. I waited 24 hours before I write a review so I have had time to think and reflect and not over react. Pure greed these two NEVER again. And before the owners come back and say we all get a bit flustered or a bit grumpy when its very busy, that was one hell of an afternoon of rudeness, if the kitchens too hot its time to get out. If this was my product on sale I wouldn't want them representing me. Owner has presumed i was passing through, I am not I am within the county. And the truth hits hard and yes I interacted with both members of staff

19/03/2026: Stopped for a milkshake and cone yesterday. Absolutely lovely. Owner gave us a history lesson about the town on top of everything

06/04/2026: I had an amazing experience at V&J. The view was absolutely incredible and made the whole stay even more special. What really stood out were the little details — everything was thoughtfully arranged and added a unique touch that you don’t often find. The kindness and warm welcome from the cooples made a huge difference as well. They were attentive, friendly, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. 07/08/2025: Arrived at 1:15 and had the place to ourselves. Best oysters we have had in Ireland, and that's high praise. Food was delicious, our server, John, was excellent, and cannot recommend highly enough.

05/08/2025: Absolutely terrific service and fabulous food. Good value too. Don't miss a meal here when visiting Killarney. The fish is first class and so fresh.

08/04/2026: I dined on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant was quiet. Starters of plum sauce tempura was a bit bland. The main of crispy shredded beef was cold and hard.

08/10/2025: This is hand down some of the best food I have had in my life. It is definitely the best cheesecake I have had. Everything I have ordered was delicious. Their coffees are perfect, too. What a gem!

30/09/2025: If you are driving you have to park at the mall and walk to the bakery, which is right at the corner. Everything here is made from scratch and is great. If you have time just sit and soak up the atmosphere. This place is great to just chill out in.

16/12/2025: We took a short break to the Killarney Towers for a Christmas shopping break. The hotel was perfect for our needs being in such a central location. Considering this is right in the centre of one of the most popular tourist towns in the country and has a leisure center, it was incredible value for money. Breakfast was perfect, and all the staff were lovely. A special mention to Anna in the leisure center who made a extra effort to encourage our 3yr old daughter, who was afraid to get in the water to start swimming.

11/12/2025: The hotel killarney is lovely and clean rooms are excellent bed is love and comfortable the swimming pool could be a bit warmer for the winder time of year and perfect summer month service was great good breakfast is good staff are lovely to deal with

22/04/2026: I've driven past here so many times and never thought to pull in. Went in quite late for food and was pleasantly surprised. There was so much choice on the menu and everything was so reasonable. The food and service were impeccable. The portions were massive. Would definitely recommend and will be returning again

09/04/2026: Great location, pub restaurant downstairs with live music. Small, clean rooms upstairs. Great for a solo traveler or couple.

30/03/2026: Very bad experience. The 10 rooms are above the pub and it is IMPOSSIBLE to sleep until the music stops, at 1:00. If you want to sleep DO NOT stay here, It is like having musicians in your room.

12/04/2026: Amazing Amazing Amazing! A charming pub with beautiful rooms. The rooms are set back from the pub so you really don't hear any noise. There is plenty of parking in town, everyone working here is so helpful, and breakfast was delicious!
