McSweeney Arms Hotel in Killarney

Nice little hotel. Located right on the main road. Tourists partying until 3 a.m., constant truck and bus traffic make for a very noisy night. To top it all off, directly opposite is the local wheelbarrow vendor who starts loading his wheelbarrows with bricks from a distance of 10 meters at 5 a.m. Surely he's getting revenge on the revelers. It's a shame because the girls put in a lot of effort.

Our golf group stayed at McSweeny Arms and we loved it!! Kelly Anne and her staff were the best. Cant imagine staying anywhere else. Rioms were prefect and the breakfast was first class! Red Breast nightcaps were a hit as well. Eight grumpy ole men absolutely loved it!! tc

Very good location walk away from town centre

A lovely homely hotel. Staff very friendly. Ideal location. Unfortunately the restaurant is only open Monday to Friday.

This was probably my favorite place to stay in Ireland. Mary was a delight upon arrival. We were the first guests of the season and she made it feel like they opened the doors just for us! The entire staff was amazing. The food was outstanding and the recommendations for dinner on the town, top notch. We ended up staying another night. Beautiful room in an elegant building. 10/10
