28/09/2024: Stopped into the Beachcove Cafe randomly on our way to Dingle, and we are so glad we did! Had the best cappuccino and best fish and chips of our travels so far. The servers were kind and friendly, the views were incredible! I would absolutely recommend this cafe to anyone in the area! Also cute and very clean bathrooms

20/09/2024: I take a 3-course menu, and to accompany this meal, he orders a small bottle of cider. I feel like a writer at heart so this description will be a bit fictionalized! A duck liver mousse with toast and onion-fig confit as a starter. A timeless classic of French cuisine. The temperature of the toasts is impeccable and we can only enjoy this first plate with pleasure. But the dish is even more impressive! A tender roast pork, exquisitely cooked, on mashed potatoes where a little spring onion creates a wonderful play of texture in addition to bringing a note of freshness to the mouth. The pudding, another element of this plate, is a sweet setting of small vegetables cooked with cinnamon in a sort of choux pastry. The whole thing, this plate with varied colors and flavors, is coated in a creamy pepper sauce! A delight, I tell you! To finish, what could be better than a chocolate fondant! Accompanied by strawberry whipped cream, strawberry coulis, a scoop of strawberry sorbet and a Mont Cherry chocolate sauce. A sort of strawberry rabbit company (sweet reference to Émilie Jolie). A gentle way to avoid the cloying side of chocolate by breaking it with the acidity of red fruits, without falling into the classic of vulgar vanilla ice cream. The chocolate - Mont Cherry sauce is the connection that makes all the difference and gives a perfect consistency in the mouth! All this for an unbeatable price, less than €40 for a meal of this quality, I will come back with great pleasure!

11/09/2024: We stopped in for a quick bite, the food was well presented and tasted great. We enjoyed the atmosphere, this seems to be a very relaxed environment. The service ws on the slow side but they were receptive to small changes requested in the dishes

21/10/2024: Would highly recommend The Black Sheep if you are looking for a hostel in the Killarney area. It is conveniently located near the city center and national park, has comfortable and private beds, nice staff, well equipped kitchen, and tasty breakfast. We did not try the coffee shop but heard it was great as well. There are also chickens and dogs (chickens friendlier than the dogs.)

20/10/2024: Hands down the best hostel in killarney anytime I go to killarney I try to get this hostel because its near the town near the national park and it's quiet,clean and free breakfast too!

22/10/2024: Well cheese loves - there is such a thing as cheese heaven after all 🥰 The is a niche shop with amazing atmosphere and originality. The food selection isn’t overwhelming but amazing. A simple selection of tantalising tasty foods available to eat in or take away as well as cakes and desserts. Now for the cheeses - well artisan and sublime would describe the cheese on offer - not only indulging in lunch a selection of cheese was purchased to later with a wee dram. Something I learnt on this visit - free parking- simply dive up to the barriers located at the left of the shop and obtain a code from the shop to exit . I could keep on going, but would strongly recommend you get yourself into gear and make the visit yourself- you won’t be disappointed 😉

23/09/2024: Great place for home cooked food with love, and cheese of course! Many vegetarian and vegan options, which you can basically mix as per your preferences. Great coffee and bread. Nice atmosphere with communal tables.

05/11/2024: 10.80€ for a toastie is a bit wild especially in a small town. I’m traveling here and there and I never paid more than 10€.

04/10/2024: We had the “Soup of day” and a very good Fish and Ships. The servers were very friendly. We liked the decor. They have two local beers, an IPA and an Ale which are very good. We don't regret our dinner.

28/10/2024: Was in on vacation from Chicago and decided to head to Mizu. It was so delicious and the raman portions were great! Got the Vegan Tempura Mushroom Eggplant app and I am still daydreaming about it days later. Service was also great even on a super busy bank Holiday weekend. Can't recommend this place enough.

03/10/2024: I left €17 and went out hungry. Salat for €13 very low quality with old hard bacon and for discussing coke which cost €4 ??? I would never recommend this place to anybody. Avoid this place if you are hungry cause you will leave the place angry.

16/11/2024: Staff were attentive and welcoming, food was delicious! We all got lattes with our breakfast. Every meal was fresh and tasty. The potatoes were so good! If they had someone outside offering potatoes samples they would convince everyone to eat here in a second!

15/11/2024: Lovely coffee shop down a hidden away street in Killarney. They seem to love cats as lots of cat motifs all over the place, yet I didn't see any cats around the place.

30/10/2024: The dogs are always a really fun night! We went during the week so it was quite a quiet evening here but everyone was still welcoming and nice. Enjoyable experience!

04/11/2024: It was very relaxing there, good food, wonderful live music in the evenings, really beautiful, with musical performances by locals. Highly recommend going there. Friendly staff, everything was perfect.
