13/06/2026: Maybe the best soup I've ever had! Ended up fighting with my wife for her fillet steak scraps, my tasty hake ones were long gone. Great to see a menu without chicken or "fancy" burgers for a change.

17/05/2026: Lovely spot, full of charm. we got some food here after the marine tour. Chicken burger was an actual fillet and was cooked to perfection. Service was exceptional.

My only problem isn't really a problem but more of a preference I prefer homemade style fries over just regular fries. But besides that it was very good food will definitely eat from here again

29/05/2026: Super cute shop at Moll’s Gap. They have amazing scarves and clothing as well as other cute souvenirs. Also a little cafe upstairs with seating with amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

26/04/2026: My husband and I are travelling across Ireland. We came across Tides Cafe today and went in for an all day breakfast. It was very tasty! The cafe had only opened yesterday and the staff were clearly experienced and very aware of customers' needs. Thank you Tides Cafe. We wish you all the best.

04/12/2025: An Exceptional Stay, Made Perfect by Outstanding Service I had the pleasure of staying at The Brehon Hotel & Spa on Monday, 1st December 2025, and the experience was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. The standout element was undoubtedly the incredible service. A huge thank you to Bojana, whose support was truly above and beyond. From assisting seamlessly with my check in to ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect, her professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness made a significant difference. It’s staff like Bojana who transform a great hotel into an exceptional one. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the spa facilities are in a league of their own. Without a doubt, this is the best SPA facility I have ever experienced. Every aspect was pristine, calming, and of the highest quality, providing the perfect retreat. My stay was an absolute delight, and I left feeling completely rejuvenated. I cannot recommend The Brehon Hotel & Spa highly enough and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for a memorable experience.

03/12/2025: All the staff were friendly. The rooms are comfortable. The food and drinks at the bar were amazing.

12/06/2026: The only possible place to have food within miles but refuses to open the door and even talk to you (11 am). Owner sees you but tells staff to ignore you. Couldn’t be more inhospitable and rude to strangers. Avoid this place.

28/10/2025: Food is tasty and the staff are nice but service was extremely slow. After being shown to a table we waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken, we had to flag down a staff member to ask if we could order, then we waited over 40 minutes for our food.

27/10/2025: I had a lovely meal at Bari today — great value, delicious food that came out quickly, and amazing service. The café was absolutely packed (bank holiday chaos!), but all the staff were still so friendly, attentive, and smiling the whole time. I even noticed the chef working away on her own in the kitchen — she absolutely smashed it! Really impressed all round.

21/05/2026: The hotel is a wonderful place, historic. The food they offer is really good. So far the good things. I asked for a room with sea view and got the information that it will have view. Well. See a picture from my window. I didn't mean that! The rooms are expectable old. Nothing to complain here. But there is no sound isolation. We were able to here everything from the next room. TV, water tap, shower, toilet. Regarding the service. There were three women in service two younger ones, who walk through the restaurant looking to the ground, barely seeing guests contact wishes for drinks or coffee in the morning. The 3rd women, a stronger one, was amazing. She definitely loves her job. It was fun talking with her and getting her recommendations for the order was Gold. Sorry for this review.

14/05/2026: We stayed two nights as a family. The hotel is superb, retaining its original charm, with very large, comfortable, and clean rooms. The restaurant is the only one open and offers good quality food. The staff is friendly. We highly recommend it.

23/11/2025: Such an amazing hostel. The staff are wonderful. Extremely friendly, kind, warm and really welcoming. They are very informative and happy to help out with recommendations for things around Killarney and helping out with how to make the most out of your stay. The hostel itself is cozy, clean and spacious. Rooms have curtains and lockers (bring your own lock), mattresses are thick and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and food storage including both and oven,double burner stove top cabinets utensils and two fridges. The hostel has 4 pet dogs that roam around the bottom floors and are very sweet. The hostel is truly a great stay. 10/10 recommend and would absolutely return.

19/11/2025: It's a friendly place, I loved how much open area they had for guests to get comfortable in (inside amd outside) the dogs and chickens were a nice touch. We had issues with our bedroom door and the main door not being locked at night, it's a cute but older spot so very creaky.

07/06/2026: Fabulous hotel. Perfect location and we had a beautiful room overlooking the marina. Staff were amazing and we were well looked after. Breakfast was perfect 👌 Highly recommend 👌 We would definitely stay here again.

09/05/2026: Wonderful staff, extremely helpful and friendly. That includes at reception, in the restaurant, at breakfast -- everyone. Beautiful, ornate ground floor with period decorations and objects to look at. Tasty dinner in the restaurant, and live music every night. But the room itself needed work. The heating was loud (it had an overhead unit with noisy vents), and one of the lights was broken. The shower was developing mold.
