17/05/2025: Authenticity. Top food. Great service. Nice atmosphere. If we go to Killarney again we will definitely come back. Rating 4.4 is too low in my opinion.

16/05/2025: Good food, especially if you like spicy dishes. There is public parking near the restaurant, humble waiters, and a well-designed interior.

24/05/2025: Gorgeous hotel, very luxurious rooms. Plenty hot water for a lovely bath and big comfy bed. Joan was very kind and accommodating. Great location beside amusements and beaches.

20/05/2025: Spent the weekend here with my partner, everything was excellent, the room, the food (breakfast and dinner). Selection of all course was excellent. Everything was thought of. Excellent service and attention to detail. Thank you so much Joan.

11/05/2025: Looking for drinks, food or even ice cream this place will have you covered. Also has off-licence with good selection of wines and beer. A multifaceted place in the heart of Sneem village. Ice cream is locally made and good quality if pricey, single scoop please! If staying or passing through area this is worth checking out.

07/05/2025: Had some ice cream here after eating lunch at a different place. WOW… the ice cream was phenomenal! We had the mint chocolate chip, my husband usually gets this flavor but he thought this was one of the best he has tried in a long time. I had the dubai chocolate and lemon meringue. The lemon meringue flavor was definitely the star of the show! So unique and fun to eat.

10/05/2025: Spent a fantastic weekend in the Carrig Country House.. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We were made feel very welcome...excellent food and service.

18/03/2025: Carrig House is a beautiful place. The scenery is out of this World, the minute you step inside the door, you get a sense of calm, the beautiful welcome from Claire and Kevin gives permission to switch off from your busy life & let us take care of you! I'd 2 thoroughly enjoyable days at Carrig. The service was impeccable. The food is one of the highlights. We went for a lake view room. So happy we did. Switched my phone off for the entire stay and sat in nature, I listened to the birds from my room while overlooking the lake.Carrig House has been on my destination list for over a decade, finally made it and it exceeded my expectations.

23/05/2025: Stopped here on our Ring of Kerry road trip for supplies - chicken wrap and veggie slice plus the most amazing custard berry tart to go - much enjoyed on the beach later that day!

23/04/2025: We used Catering Tralee to cater for a recent family birthday.The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Everything was superb, and we couldn't recommend it highly enough.. Monika was brilliant to deal with and went above & beyond to cater for those with specific dietary requirements. We will definitely use this catering service again.

03/03/2025: All 14 of us have been so lucky to have Catering Tralee make delicious and plentiful dinners for us every night for two weeks and look forward to their kind help again soon!

16/05/2025: Absolutely heavenly. Wonderful boutique guesthouse. Stayed there last week, and as one of my travelling companions said while we enjoyed a glorious Irish breakfast... " you know, everthing about this place is just Quality". And we all agreed, from the warm welcome, the wonderfully appointed rooms, the food, the location. We missed the opportunity to have in their restaurant this time ( we had eaten there before, so we knew it would be great, but alas schedules were against us) but we will definitely be back. Teach de Broc is a pitching wedge from Ballybunion golf club and all its fantastic facilities. It is also a few hundred yards from one of the best beaches in Ireland. We are already looking for an excuse to re-visit Aoife and Seamus and stay in Teach de Broc again.

26/01/2025: We booked Mae's section for a birthday party of about 30 guests. The staff went above and beyond for us and we had an absolutely fantastic night. Thanks so much to Neil and team for looking after us.

06/04/2025: Excellent juices and friendly service with a real commitment to sustainability. The coffees and sandwiches are great too. It's mainly take way, just two seats inside and a bench outside.

30/04/2025: I have ordered cakes from O’Carroll’s for a number of occasions including our wedding cake and my wife’s 30th birthday. The cakes have always tasted outstanding. Everyone raves about them they are a real crowd pleaser. Gary clearly has passion for his work, the cakes are very reasonably priced, very generous portions and always fresh and tasty. Gary has also been extremely accommodating. I highly recommend O’ Carroll’s cakes for any occasion you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for all the lovely cakes we look forward to ordering more in the future.

29/04/2025: I cannot begin to tell you how extraordinary O'Carroll's Cakes will be to us, forever. We were on vacation in Ireland from New Hampshire, USA. We called them on a busy day. We were celebrating a Birthday and they went out of their way to fit in a cake for us! We had no idea that the cake would not only commemorate a Birthday but also an engagement! The cake was perfect, delicious, and beautiful. Thanks, O'Carroll's Cakes!
