It wasn't easy to spontaneously find a restaurant with vegetarian options on the Ring of Kerry (apart from pub pizza and chips) – we were very happy when we found this one. The pizza was delicious (and it arrived so quickly!), the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was really cozy – the music from the 50s and 60s was a welcome change from all the radio electropop that's playing everywhere else.

We were pleasantly surprised at the authentic Italian pizza - ingredients AND crust. We felt like we were in Italy! A nice break from the pub food. We highly recommend ( each ordered our own pizza and ate it all!)

02/10/2026: Lily House is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal in Kenmare. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the friendly service made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The menu offers a tempting selection of Thai and Chinese dishes, so there’s plenty to choose from. We really enjoyed the Singapore noodles, which were full of flavour and had just the right amount of spice. The Amber Fire Steak was another highlight: tender, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Both dishes were satisfying and made us want to come back to try more of the menu.

12/09/2026: We had fish and chips for tea today having been staying in the area on holiday we are from Yorkshire , they were very nice indeed thank you kindly.
02/09/2026: We had 2 fish and chips this evening. We are staying in Kenmare and fancied a takeaway so decided to try here. Fantastic quality and great price with HUGE portions. Highly recommend. Cash only!!!
