Tigh T.P. in Murreagh

Sad how this turned out cuz it could have been great. We stayed in the rooms for 2 nights. The location is great; but the bedding in the family room smelt like a teenage boys bedroom… The room was spotless besides the bedding, like the comforter in the one bed wasn’t washed in months… The staff well that’s another story. The lads at the bar especially the young kid with the curly hair with a jeep, he’s so kind and genuinely cares about ppl. The female manager is miserable. So rude. And def doesn’t care for her customers… an older couple was having troubles with their room, we didn’t know them and she painted us with the same brush! They left the keys to everyone’s room just In the door and the older American lady was worried about it… she had a little hissy fit, miserable said, (with major inconvenience) I’ll go look, we have no crime here… (well honey, u are welcome strangers from around the world to share there u might not have crime in ur community but doesn’t mean one of the strangers staying in one of the rooms isn’t going to investigate) my only concern was that one of the staff members would get in trouble for leaving them there…) Anyway, it was a great stay we would stay again but certainly wouldn’t give her the time of day. Shame on her for being in hospitality and being so rude to your customer, we’re ur bread and butter honey! The room had the tiniest tv in the world lol! Also the staff are clueless when it comes to the accommodations.. no one knew anything, also didn’t know when management would be in… The food was bloody awful! And def didn’t eat there again. Once was enough… The bay is beautiful!

Lovely fish and chips, the burger looks good as well. Staff are friendly and efficient, they also have a spa. There's a sauna by the sea. Definitely worth a visit

Excellent cuisine, a warm welcome and a magnificent setting

We sailed in to Smerick harbour and went for a meal here. Best steak I have ever had. There are no shops In Ballydavid and we needed to get milk. The owner gave us despite the restaurant being low themselves. A real gent.

Must go for Great views and good food and drinks, busy parking come summer

Lovely atmosphere, accomadating and friendly staff. Went for a few drinks after work had a good time. Gorgeous view from the outdoor seating of the beach. Reasonable prices.

I’ve been a regular over quite a number of years during the summer. I love this spot, the location and views are incredible. The bar is nice and at times can have a really great atmosphere. In previous years the food has been excellent. This year the food has been grand, not bad but quite average. The big deterioration for me however has been the service. It’s been pretty appalling. Really slow indifferent service, staff chatting among themselves, no engagement with customers beyond transactional. Feels a bit like there is no manager in charge to make the staff actually do their job well. I hope this is resolved and TPs can get back to their previous lofty heights in an incredible spot!!
