What an amazing place. Lots of vegetarian options and people were so kind to recommend the right dishes. Really lovely place. And innovative combinations for sure. Book in advance they get really busy. 😊

Really good food, scallop and black pudding dish was brilliant. Best scallops I've ever eaten. Service was spot on, attentive and welcoming. Definitely a spot for a small group so you can try multiple dishes. Pork belly and crab tartlet stood out too.

This is a "must go" tasting/small plate/sharing restaurant! All the other 5 star reviews are spot on. Solas is an indulgence, but worth it. Service, atmosphere, and food quality are exceptional. If I'm ever back to Dingle, I'll be dining at Solas. Good job!

Maeve and the rest of the crew were outstanding. The advice given on what and how much to order was perfect. The experience felt personal and relaxed. The food was unique and wonderful. Had a fabulous wine. We really hope to come back to Dingle for a third visit one day and this restaurant will be our first stop for sure!

A superb discovery, this hidden gem where reservations are highly recommended. The dishes are truly delicate and delicious. You'll want to try everything. Most of the tapas are meant to be shared. The wine list is very interesting. The only slight drawback is that the bill adds up very quickly.

We were very happy with our dinner at Solas in Dingle. Such a cozy, friendly little place with excellent, attentive service from beginning to end. The tapas were unique, creative and, most importantly, very tasty. We really enjoyed being able to try several different dishes, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared rather than just the usual tapas selections. The atmosphere was intimate and comfortable, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and the attentive service made the entire evening even more enjoyable. Great food, great service and a wonderful cozy atmosphere. Solas was one of those places where we simply walked away happy. Definitely recommend!

The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and the wine was good. Unfortunately, the food was just far too oily, which made it difficult to taste the actual flavours. We ended up feeling full very quickly and didn’t order or try as many dishes as we would have liked. The patatas bravas in particular were extremely oily. We also both felt unwell the next day. Genuinely not saying this just to complain, but more as constructive feedback, using less oil would make such a difference to the food and would probably encourage people to order more dishes too! Overall, we were a little disappointed.

Portions were small but tasty. We shared some tapas for dinner: patatas bravas, croquetas, prawns, and a chocolate fondant as dessert. The only sour point is the “discretionary” 12.5% added charge, which we were surprised about. It states it on the menu, however it’s far from the norm in Irish restaurants.

My wife and I had a really nice dinner at Solas. The Spanish-inspired dishes made with local Irish seafood were unique, interesting, and very well done. It was a great change of pace from some of the more traditional seafood spots in Dingle, while still highlighting the quality of the local ingredients. Who knew tapas and Irish seafood would get along so well? Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something a little different.
