A beautiful cave to explore, even with children. The price is quite high, but you do get an audio guide in several languages, including German. The children really enjoyed that because they could actually understand something. The cave is very impressive and well worth seeing. Definitely worth a visit.

We recently visited Crag Cave and really enjoyed seeing the rock formations and hearing about the cave's discovery. The pathways and lighting are well laid out, making it very comfortable to walk through. ​However, the tour was much shorter than we anticipated. If you're expecting an extensive or physically challenging underground trek, be aware that the walk only takes about 20-30 minutes and covers a fairly compact route.

Nice and short cave experience, great for 1st time visiting. You get a speaker with prerecorded guide so that you may go and have a tour by yourself or with your family. There is a gift shop and cafe. Playcenter which kids enjoyed.

A small cave, but rich in rock formations. Self-guided tours are available. Few visitors, no lines. The souvenir shop is well-stocked with jewelry.

Fantastic place to take the kids. The play area for parties is excellent with great staff and friendly vibe. Also the visiting cave and gift shop is an exciting trip for the kids. Bring a top … as regardless of the 32C temp outside in Castleisland… it’s about 10c far below ground . Recommended. The end of year school trip camp was a success. Up Scart.

Great spot to stop. Went with my 2,5 years old and he loved it, there is a few steps but it's not a hard walk. It is a bit steep so you need some kind of good mobility but don't need to be extra fit to do it. My son could walk by himself and we manages to walk a lot holding him, he is 15kg. Not allowed t have food or drink at the cave so make sure little one are sorted. It take 30 to 40 minutes to complete the walk down and up. It's a nice to see around the area. And have a nice kids park if you have kid that need some playing.

11/06/2026: I am writing this review specifically because of one of your staff members Becca. Vibrant fun and full of energy - I have years of experience working in hospitality and also attending weddings and she is genuinely a super star and knows how to engage and have fun. Best of luck with everything and do not lose your shine! In terms of the venue I was blown away I fell in love with it, and within seconds knew we will be booking this venue for our big day I would say service was good, friendly and experienced. Again Becca stole the show - nothing worse than an NPC serving at a wedding and becca was the main character (bar the bride and groom) not a paid ad. Just seriously impressed.
10/06/2026: Fantastic area to visit amd amazing hotel to stay a long relaxing week or weekend. Would recommend to friends amd family who enjoy the best of what's to offer here.
