O'Carroll's Cove in

Perfectly situated on the Ring of Kerry right by the beach, this restaurant offers spectacular views of the sea and the gorgeous Irish coast. We dropped in for dinner and had a fantastic experience—the food was excellent, the service was flawless, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. It easily earns its titles as the Best Pub in Ireland 2025 and Best Seafood Restaurant 2026. Highly recommended!

Not quite as welcoming as I was expecting!! A couple of coffees; neither of which was hot. Toilets...female has one tap not working, male...no tap working in the disabled and no soap anyway or in the main toilet.

A highlight of outer holiday. Such a beauriful place to dine. Great food and great service from the staff. Seafood was amazing and the salad to die for.

This is a lovely lovely restaurant! You feel the professionalism from the moment you step inside. The location is amazing, right on a beautiful beach, and the interior is stylish and elegant, but without any pretentious atmosphere. Smiles and a warm welcome. The menu is very inviting, with a lot of choices. Everything we tasted was excellent. I have just one problem with the experience, and that is I’d love to come back, but I’m not anymore in the area. Great place, super recommended.

Our second trip to Ireland, and we're in love with this country and its people. We stopped at this beachfront pub on our Ring of Kerry trip, and it was a fantastic find! Great atmosphere, excellent service, and an amazing location! We couldn't stay for dinner, but it must be excellent. I'm definitely making a note to come back and stop for a longer visit (and bring my swimsuit 😉).

They say it's the only Irish restaurant right on the beach. A lovely beach to spend some time on. Good food and very friendly people working here who made our short stay very pleasant.

It was fantastic! Of all the restaurants in Ireland, this is definitely my favorite. The view is beautiful, the food is magnificent—the best seafood soup I've ever had! The meat was juicy and delicious, and the fish and chips were also very tasty. Great music and a great atmosphere! The staff are very friendly and attentive and provide excellent service! The restaurant facilities are also very nice. The prices are fair for the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere.
