10/03/2025: Went for an anniversary meal for four on Saturday evening.
The service was first class, the waiter and waitress were amazing.
The food was out of this world, best meal for years, will be booking for when we are in Ireland again.
20/02/2025: Food is top notch, staff are brilliant, wine list is really good, couldn’t recommend The Dining Room more. It’s been a couple of years since my last visit and I definitely won’t leave it as long until next time. Great value for the standard of the meal

01/03/2025: Lovely and friendly staff. Very helpful. You will never leave this place hungry. Their jacket potatoes are a must. The fish is always so fresh. You will not go wrong ordering the fish (pan-fried, steamed, or battered). The home made burgers are delicious. Steak is good, too. Have never got anything that was disappointing.
18/01/2025: Great old style greasy spoon. Very friendly staff with good quality and value-for-money food.

13/12/2024: Brilliant. Called in today for a cheeky take away. Chicken goujons and chips. Their chips have a tasty seasoning and the portion was massive. Fionnuala and co are brilliant and so friendly. Drop in for main meal or dessert. They have specials that change all the time. Check out their instagram for videos and photos which are a real representation of what you will get. Never had a poor meal in here.

09/02/2025: Lovely small country pub. Had a Guinness while waiting to be seated in the bar area watching the rugby. Cosy spot. Once seated we all had Sunday lunch and from the starters to the dessert everything was lovely. Food was tasty and staff very friendly. Will definitely be back again.

28/03/2025: We stopped here as we were passing through. The parking was a little hectic and we ended up parking down at the Visitor Centre parking across from the school and walking back (because I didn't want to attempt parallel parking with a long line of cars behind me on the "wrong" side of the road for my normal driving).
The food and service here for lunch was very delicious and pleasant.

18/02/2025: Wow! We visited Sligo for a friends wedding, the Airbnb host recommended this place. We were not disappointed. Really warm atmosphere, top notch Guinness and Irish coffee, and the food was sublime. I got the grilled Irish steak sandwich (a whole steak on ciabatta with wild shrooms onions etc) and the wife had Korean wings. Would 100% recommend
12/02/2025: We had the most delicious meal, from a broad menu. The food would give any high end resturant stiff competition and good value for money. Not what we expected from pub food, but a lovely surprise. Also check out their own apple juice. Superb! Staff were attentive and pleasant, and had time to chat and share local information. Would highly recommend you put this on your list of places to visit while in Sligo.

12/03/2025: Beautiful quiet location. Multiple courses, it is quiet pricy but it is more about the experience. All dishes were prepared perfectly and presented well. The staff were all courteous and very attentive which should be commended.
20/02/2025: What a beautiful hotel! I Had the 5 course dinner here the other night . Setting is beautiful. Food was delicious . Something for the foodies and something for the non foodies. As for the dessert trolley it was the highlight. Jokingly I asked for a little of everything but they do that anyway if asked for. All were outstanding .
