24/05/2023: This is a gem of a place. Cakes to die for ( you simply can'tget cakes like these in Dublin or Cork). Had a delicious dinner and breakfast there today. 😋 Fantastic , friendly staff.

26/05/2023: One of the most amazing meals I've had in Ireland! The best seafood chowder I've ever had, among with great chicken syrups and sea bass, made for a meal we couldn't even finish. Plus, homemade brown bread... awesome place!

08/05/2023: Neasa and her band mates made our trip to Ireland. She made us feel so special. We had an absolutely fantastic meal and the entertainment exceeded expectations. Thanks from the "mullet" guy.
07/05/2023: My husband and I ate here this evening. We shared the goats cheese bruchetta (delicious) and then my husband had the lamb (lovely) as his main. The only man option for a vegetarian on the menu was a vegetarian pizza. I should say I don't eat fish or chicken. Perhaps a little more thought should go into a second main option for vegetarians in Keanes.

19/05/2023: Can't believe how delicious the goat cheese salad was. Toasty melty cheese over crispy greens, pine nuts, beets, and bacon. I usually do not order salads as a main meal, but it was the perfect dinner for a gluten-free customer. Supposedly the fish and chips was also gluten-free!

15/05/2023: Went to a Birthday party here and it was a great night out. Live band playing, drinks were flowing, finger food piping hot, staff very helpful and you cannot beat those prices. Unbelievable when you think how much more you have to pay in the east of the country. They have a really nice outdoor seating area.
Great night, great craic and a great venue also.

Good restaurant in the middle of a small fishing village. Very good beautiful. The food was great. Of course, if you are on the coast, you have to eat seafood. Service friendly and fast. Nice décor :)

11/05/2023: We really enjoyed the evening sitting at the bar, feeling the atmosphere and tasting very nice beers (for Belgian tasters). The meat was very nice and neighbours too. Ending by an Irish coffee was a good idea. Just ending too early…

12/04/2023: Stopped here for lunch on a very busy Easter Sunday. While we had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, we were made very welcome. It was worth the wait. Excellent food and even a free top up of tea. A very welcoming place with good no nonsense food.
