08/05/2025: WOW WOW WOW! I’ve been trying many restaurants while traveling through Ireland, and this is by far the best. Our waiter was incredibly welcoming and genuinely took the time to get to know us. The food was absolutely AMAZING! I had the lamb with mashed potatoes, and I would come back to Ireland just for that dish. Here is my beer.
08/05/2025: Went to Keanes the other day when we were on vacation. I’m not sure if the gentleman that waited on us was the owner or manager but he was so friendly!! He spoke to us for a while about Ireland and what to see and do. Their food was absolutely delicious. We loved the salmon cod bake, the fajitas and the roasted lamb. Yummy!! And the drinks were superb! Wonderful Irish restaurant!! You won’t be disappointed!! 😋

27/04/2025: We had the pleasure of using a gift voucher, which gave us the opportunity to try a new restaurant. Conveniently, there is a dedicated parking area, making our arrival seamless.
Upon entering, we were welcomed by a very pleasant atmosphere with subtle, soothing background music. The restaurant impressed us with its spaciousness—standing out among others in Galway.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. They dimmed the lights to just the right level, paired with calming, non-intrusive music. As we sipped on our drinks 🍷, the ambiance set the tone for delightful conversation while awaiting our food.
Our dining experience began with oysters, which were exquisitely fresh. Following that, the starters truly shone, delivering flavors that were nothing short of outstanding. For the mains, the meat dishes took center stage, surpassing the seafood dishes in quality and taste.

13/05/2025: We stopped here to eat on our way to Donegal. The staff were great. They were attentive and quick. We ordered the all day breakfast which was fine but dry. I assume from being under heat lamps to keep the food hot. Everything else was great.

18/08/2024: Lots of Cappuccino for the price, AS a tired Hungry vegan this was awesome to stumble upon. There is ist Milk, vegan Muffins, vegan sausage roll and vegan cake! Wonderful service very cute View and Overall delightful. I would visit again! And recommend to other vegans :) and non vegans! Sláinte
25/07/2024: The best lunch I had on the island - nutritious, beautiful and delicious! So nice to have fresh tasty salads. My only criticism is that hot drinks are served in disposable cups, even if you're not taking away. I personally find this unacceptable from a sustainability point of view and for me it also ruins the quality of the drink.

14/04/2025: A fun little place in the village, Bia Blasta has a nice menu, friendly (are there any other kind?) staff and a really "local" atmosphere. While visiting friends we ate here three times in 2 days, After the 1st time we were greeted as if we were locals. Cannot beat that. The food is delicious. The portions, typical of Ireland, just right and it brings such a welcome business to the village as well. We visit Ireland often and when in Carraroe we'll never miss a stop. A fine place!

I didn't eat there, just a beer and a couple of soft drinks... But everything looked good, apparently you should eat well.

15/04/2025: What can we say...we got married at Rosleague Manor and it was the most perfect setting for our special day. We stayed for the full weekend and from the minute we arrived the staff couldn't do enough for us. Our guests absoultely loved it, the hospitality was so personable and friendly, the food was amazing and the views are spectacular. Every room was spacious, unique and very comfortable. The conservatory is the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony and the beautiful grounds provide ample opportunity for photos. People are still commmenting on the food, it was incredible. We wanted a relaxed wedding in a beautiful setting with good food - Mark, Lulu, Rachel, Emmanuel and the rest of the team went above and beyond to deliver. Rosleague truly is in a league of it's own. And of course a special mention to Jono the resident doggo who brought so much joy to the weekend, the wee legend. Thanks a million to you all, we can't wait to come back. Paula & Ross

03/05/2025: This is the most incredible find! Wonderful food, great value, incredible service and amazing staff. Top it off with an atmosphere of home from home where everyone is treated like family. We were lucky to find this venue so please please do not miss it, it's worth stopping in for real home cooked food and a heart warming chat with the owner and staff. Highly recommend!
