Excellent restaurant. Generous portions. Nice atmosphere and decor. We went there two nights in a row during our 3-day stopover in Oranmore and regretted not going on the last night.

Popped in here for dinner Friday 24th October. Absolutely beautiful food, well presented. I had the curry and for a bar it was good as an Indian curry. Staff are lovely

25/05/2025: We stopped for lunch at The Moorings Bar & Restaurant and were very happy with the experience. My wife ordered a fish and chips and I had the fish of the day, Cod gratinated à la Florentine. Both were very good and generously portioned. The Baileys cheese cake for dessert was just ok. Overall a nice lunch.
19/05/2025: We eat lunch here every time we are in Portmagee. It's super cozy. The food is great. Service is fast. No need to look elsewhere!

30/09/2025: This place is a good option to stay near Galway, the room is fine, nothing special very simple and require some basic renovation, our stay was pleasant but for what we payed we probably could find something much better and closer to town. The best here is the restaurant and the staff, even if didn't have dinner due it was fully booked the night we stayed, we had breakfast there next day and it was really good. Parking is small but enough, we had to wait for a while to be able to park but is included with no extra cost which is fine.
