The best restaurantsof irish in Athenry

01/04/2024: The price is a bit high for this small town, but it’s still worth it. The atmosphere and decoration of the entire restaurant are very good, and the waiters are also very friendly. The highlight is that the carrot cake here is super delicious! The cake itself is great, the Creamcheese on top is solid, and paired with the fresh cream on the side it makes it even more refreshing! The price is a bit high for the little town, but it is still worth the money, the whole vibes is good and the easter deco definitely makes the place cuter! Their carrot cake is a must have! It's really good, I would say it's the best ever! The base is really nice, along with the fresh cream actually make it better!

27/03/2024: Lunch recommended by the staff at Athenry Castle. Food in Ireland never disappoint. The cakes were good, not too sweet. I see a lot of people ordering tea which they make out of loose tea. It's quite a small place and the place was quite full for a weekday lunch. I feel a lot of locals come here.

03/04/2024: The hotel is nice, room was comfortable and warm (maybe too warm for us? we cut the heating and opened windows). The hotel has good facilities with swimming pool and offer a discount for the kardio kids, they had good fun there, wasn’t crowded at all and is located in the hotel. The kids had a small bag and a chocolate in the bedroom + a free hot chocolate which looked amazing! (All was included in a Easter offer). The kids club was really appreciated by kids (and parents) and the staff did a good job with them keeping them entertained in a good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend for families with kids. We had food in the bar, was good as you can expect from a pub restaurant. It was kept very clean with staff always active to keep it clean in all the details. Breakfast was a buffet so could have as much as wanted with a fair choice of Irish breakfast and cereals, patisserie etc… Thank you for welcoming us, I would definitely return with the family!

15/03/2024: All day breakfast is always very nice , freshly cooked and toast is warm and butter is hard (the little things)and coffee is good ....staff are friendly.
