Raheen Woods Hotel in Athenry

The hotel is nice, room was comfortable and warm (maybe too warm for us? we cut the heating and opened windows). The hotel has good facilities with swimming pool and offer a discount for the kardio kids, they had good fun there, wasn’t crowded at all and is located in the hotel. The kids had a small bag and a chocolate in the bedroom + a free hot chocolate which looked amazing! (All was included in a Easter offer). The kids club was really appreciated by kids (and parents) and the staff did a good job with them keeping them entertained in a good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend for families with kids. We had food in the bar, was good as you can expect from a pub restaurant. It was kept very clean with staff always active to keep it clean in all the details. Breakfast was a buffet so could have as much as wanted with a fair choice of Irish breakfast and cereals, patisserie etc… Thank you for welcoming us, I would definitely return with the family!

Great location close to Galway but not in the city noise and crowds. Spacious clean rooms. Professional and friendly staff. Fair prices Excellent dining and bar facilities. Great food. Stayed over mothers day and they treated the mothers very well. High recommendation.

A fabulous stay. The greeting at reception was so welcoming and informative. Had a beer before heading to the room , the bar was buzzing , bar food was busy yet the staff were very efficient. Room was spacious and clean . The added touch of having a welcoming drink waiting for me in the room was so thoughtful and most thoroughly enjoyed. Was greeted in the morning in the breakfast room and again all the staff were excellent. Will definitely be back .

Lovely family break away. The reception staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Kids were offered ice cream on arrival which was a lovely treat. Family Room was spacious plenty space for family of four. Food in the bar was good. *kids swimming lessons were on the evening we used the pool, it was very busy & crowded in the changing area * Would recommend to friends & family.
