The hotel is in a quiet and convenient area. We were greeted warmly by Tunde, who checked us in and shared some local knowledge. At breakfast, the manager, Oisin, chatted with us for a bit. Both experiences were wonderful and made our first trip to Ireland excellent. Athernry is a great town!

The Old Barracks Restaurant

05/09/2026: Food was very good and very friendly staff Wings were one of the best I had in Ireland and the bacon was so tender, perfect with the gravy Definitely recommend this place and will come back
