05/09/2025: Fantastic service - ordered a specific type of cake at short notice after trying several other bakers for my wife’s birthday to bake the cake and the staff were so accommodating and understanding the quality of cake was unbelievable would highly recommend and looking forward to going back again very soon.

11/07/2025: I ordered a Fresh Cream cake for a birthday online based on reviews. It was BY FAR the freshest and most delicious fresh cream cake we have ever had. Hands down we can's wait for the next birthday to try the another of their cakes!

27/10/2025: The staff and food were both top notch! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and got our food out quickly! The food was also extremely delicious we almost ate here both nights of our stay!

21/09/2025: food always takes 40-50 mins though i live 7 mins away ish. there’s more than a 50/50 chance the food is ice cold when it arrives. great food quality though but it sucks having to microwave it.

11/08/2025: I was there Sunday the 10th of August at 8.43am and the gentleman who served me, known as Lee Whelton was a brilliant worker, knows the running of the place and was so very helpful he was a star ⭐️!!

29/07/2025: Cong is a superb location, Ryans have friendly staff. I had lasagne on this day, and it was ok.

26/08/2025: Very nice place to get lunch or eat a takeaway pizza in the evening. The service from staff was great, all of them very kindly. About the food, one day we got fish and chips and honestly was better than expected, not the same with homemade lemonade and ice tea, completely avoid order these. Another day we ordered few takeaway Pizzas around 9pm when every other place around is not serving food so they saved us.

23/08/2025: Ordered a salad and soup. Very little options for drinks, gin and tonic came in wine glass (couldn’t get much tonic in). Wooden cutlery ?! Food was ok. Perfect location on a lovely day. Seats outside and inside.

10/11/2025: Had dinner here the last day and was surprised at how clean it was. Everywhere including the bathroom was spotless and it made the experience a 10/10. Service and food were excellent.Will go again!!!

07/09/2025: We had lunch at this cafe after a walk in Kilcornan Woods and before heading to Galway. I had a slice of beetroot, goat cheese, and walnut quiche there, which was a real treat for the taste buds. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. :)

01/08/2025: I did love the poached eggs breakfast but €4.20 for a latte is a step too far. €4.00 for take away with own cup. There is a well known lovely cafe in Galway city that only charges €2.80 for a latte with own cup and has the most amazing food at great prices. Will bypass now en route to Burren to pick up a coffee from now on

17/12/2025: I took my grandfather here for a nice lunch out. We had booked and when we turned up we had to wait 5 minutes at the host stand until someone even acknowledged us. We were finally showed to a table where we sat for 30 minutes until someone showed up to take our order, without even an apology for the wait. 15 minutes later our drinks showed up. 1 hour after we were first sat we received our food. The food was good and hot but unfortunately the wait and lack of communication overshadowed the good quality of the food. In the end we just wanted to pay the bill and leave.

16/12/2025: Unfortunately the food fell short of expectations this time, roast potatoes came out cold and the veg also. On a plus note the beef was very good, the service was very good also

30/11/2025: Today, my daughter and her friend were denied entry to this establishment, and we believe it was solely because they are Spanish. The situation was discriminatory and extremely unpleasant. We want others to be aware of what happened so they can decide whether they wish to support a place where such incidents occur. 09/09/2025: Asked for a southern fryed lunch box said no problem but what I got was two dried up drumsticks ,and a dried up thigh with over seasoned / reheated chips( not southern fried ) id say chicken was lying under heat lamp all day ,absolute crap ,the guy tried to say it was fresh and southern fryed.nowvut was far from Southern fried ,over fried id say ,food has gone downhill in last 5 years, it's now the pits ,the dog wouldn't even eat it , Very dissatisfied customer .

04/11/2025: I live in portumna and i used order from supermac’s all the time. All the staffs are good expect one named reba( I guess) . Everytime i called if she picking the call she says no strawberry milkshake( thats my girl wanted the most) . She never say yes but if someone else taking the order there is no problem at all. Its obvious that she gives excuse because she is not ready to make one. Very bad experience from that particular person. All other people are good.
