07/05/2025: Had a great lunch at Sullivan’s hotel. It was superb and the service from the staff was exceptional. Highly recommend this place off the main highway.

03/05/2025: This is the most incredible find! Wonderful food, great value, incredible service and amazing staff. Top it off with an atmosphere of home from home where everyone is treated like family. We were lucky to find this venue so please please do not miss it, it's worth stopping in for real home cooked food and a heart warming chat with the owner and staff. Highly recommend!

25/05/2025: We stopped for lunch at The Moorings Bar & Restaurant and were very happy with the experience. My wife ordered a fish and chips and I had the fish of the day, Cod gratinated à la Florentine. Both were very good and generously portioned. The Baileys cheese cake for dessert was just ok. Overall a nice lunch.

19/05/2025: We eat lunch here every time we are in Portmagee. It's super cozy. The food is great. Service is fast. No need to look elsewhere!

14/06/2025: Excellent service - the staff are fantastic. High quality food with a superb blend of freshness, flavours, and combination of textures. Value for money. Stayed in the Carraroe area for 3 nights and had dinner at The Pins each evening.

02/05/2025: Muy decepcionado con la comida. Fui con mi hija esta misma noche, 7⁄8 para celebrar sus grandes logros en la universidad... no teniendo demasiada hambre, pedimos una pizza y una porción de cuñas entre nosotros... las cuñas podrían haber sido de Aldi o Dunnes, a 99 centavos por bolsa!!!, pero cobramos 8. 50 euros la porción... ¡vergonzoso! La salsa era mayonesa o chile agridulce... pizza a los 18 años. 50 euros era muy mediocre. . . . menú limitado en comparación con hace un tiempo. . . . lugar estaba bastante vacío. . . ahora sé por qué! ! Solía traer a mis hijos aquí para tomar el té todos los viernes, y el lugar estaría lleno de zumbido... ¡qué pena... ya que realmente me encantaba el lugar... no tendré prisa por volver pronto!

09/03/2025: Lovely stay in cosy Room it's traditional but with all mod cons too. The hot water bottle in the room was just the icing on the cake. Good breakfast too.

11/07/2025: I ordered a Fresh Cream cake for a birthday online based on reviews. It was BY FAR the freshest and most delicious fresh cream cake we have ever had. Hands down we can's wait for the next birthday to try the another of their cakes!

28/05/2025: Cannot head west without popping in on both ends of our journey. Love the good food and always find a ‘something’ to buy among their gifts. Like this one ! Brown bread amazing and freezes beautifully.

10/06/2025: We accidentally pulled into a nearby parking lot and saw this cafe. We decided to have a coffee and we were not mistaken! A magnificent terrace by the river. Very cozy and beautiful. Excellent coffee! Friendly staff and service! I can definitely recommend this place! I'll definitely stop by again when I pass through here.

15/07/2025: Super nice staff also at the end of the night shift, friendly and served us with a smile even though they were about to close in 3 minutes.

13/07/2025: It happened few times I didn't get a good service here, always mixed up order or something from the order missing. I didn't eat here for few months. Things have improved a lot. Especially Daniel from Romania is a great addition to the team, he was absolutely excellent. Thank you for patience and excellent customer service.

13/07/2025: We ate there last night and the young man serving us was very efficient and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty. I seen the young staff member serve an elderly lady and as she was leaving, he helped her and opened the door for her. What a gent and an asset to your team of staff 😊

15/06/2025: the standards I grew up in with you have deminished,flavor in chicken,you used to take a bite and order more now you take a bite or bring your own aromat as I do, burgers are dry,,fries are either half cooked or oil hasn't been changed in a while,last time I worked for supermacs with pride I was 8 months pregnant 19 yrs ago,kindness and speed,very disappointed I'm an ex employee I know your standards i was 18 when I joined mixed our own sauces from scratch on and off for 30 yrs , standards have decreased to a very low standard to what I was taught, Loughrea disappointed,I know your standards well past standards ,do better,

17/03/2025: Second time I've ordered delivery from this place. Said id give it another chance. Food was freezing when it arrived over an hour late. . 1.45 from when it was ordered. Simple order of 2 kids means which arrived again with no toy and no juice. No point on complaining to driver. Not his fault. Pathetic service really

21/07/2025: Called in the Crows Nest this evening for something to eat, Bev my server done a great a job making it a warm and tasteful experience, everything was spot on and will definitely come again to see her.
