Great food, friendly service, unfortunately it was a bit cold in the bar.

A must visit in Clifden. The food is brilliant - fresh local mussels and seafood chowder are a must try. Family run pub for years. You wonโ€™t regret going.

10/10. We had the good fortune to discover the wonderful Griffin's Bar during our short stay in Clifden. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. However, the highlight was the thoroughly friendly, engaging and welcoming bar staff we met there. We recommend the bar in the highest terms and have every intention of returning. The other bars in Clifden have a lot to live up to.

Lowry's Bar

15/09/2026: We spent a great evening listening Irish music
07/09/2026: The quintessential pub, with its cozy atmosphere and inviting nooks. Arrive early if you want a chance of getting a seat during the live music. A must-see in Clifden.
