07/03/2025: De principio a fin recibimos una bienvenida muy amable de todo el personal. Fuego encendido, asientos calefactados, comida fabulosa, mejillones consiguen mi voto . . hermosa Guinness y buen vino, postres para disfrutar realmente . . ¿Qué no se puede saborear en este realmente encantador gastropub? Divino en todas las direcciones. . ¡Donnelleys te saludamos!

15/02/2025: The place was baltic. Everyone had their coats on. Even the staff were talking about it. Food was ok, mine was very greasy. Wasn't impressed to be honest!

28/02/2025: This is one of my go-to restaurants in Ballinasloe for lunch. They serve the finest beef steak, and the exceptional staff deserves appreciation for maintaining top-quality service. The ambiance is wonderful, and getting a seat facing the marina makes the experience even more enjoyable.

15/02/2025: Breakfast very slow!! Ran out of orange juice at 9-30 am , and was told we had to pay if we wanted juice as it then came from the bar!! Had to keep asking for, milk, tea & toast, witch came 1/2 way through the food, room and bed were clean and comfortable, check in lady was lovely ,and very helpful.

20/12/2024: Nice cafe that isn't the usual chain cafe. Also has a great weekly tapas menu on a Saturday night

28/09/2024: Once we got given a table the waitresses were refusing to serve my husband and I. we waited for at least 17minutes and other people coming in way after us were getting served first. Very rude and unprofessional

05/03/2025: Acabamos de llegar para un almuerzo pequeño / rápido recientemente. Los dos teníamos una sopa grande que era deliciosa, un montón de pescado, y vino con un poco de pan integral. Comimos en el bar que era cómodo. Surgió cierta confusión ya que algunos empleados no querían servir comida en el bar por alguna razón, pero el sentido común prevaleció ya que el comedor estaba lleno y la gente estaba esperando una mesa. Sabia para reservar probablemente. Sin duda volveríamos a caer de nuevo al pasar.

17/02/2025: La lubina era uno de los especiales. . . un pequeño trozo de lubina salió encima de lo que parecía comida para bebés!! ! . . . . crema de remolacha rosa mushy y arroz cremoso mushy (que se suponía que era paella) con una fina capa de espinacas cuerdas guisadas verdes en la parte superior del "arroz crema mushy". . . así que no hay textura, ni sabor, ni sustancia o disfrute! Mi amiga estaba de vacaciones y me invitaba a almorzar, veníamos aquí todos los años, así que no quería avergonzarla haciendo una denuncia. Pero 25 euros por un almuerzo que parecía vómito. Si quisiera comida licuada la pediría... Muy decepcionante. Ella tenía filete que costó 33€ y era más pequeño que una hamburguesa .. presentación muy pobre, patatas fritas mal cocidas. El resteraunt estaba muy ocupado y muy frío ... nos mantuvimos nuestros abrigos puestos. No volveré allí de nuevo.

18/03/2025: Nice location, good food and great staff. Would highly recommend for lunch. Mussels are incredible. Fresh fish and Irish lamb very good as well.

15/03/2025: Very overpriced for pub food. Garlic mushrooms are €9.95 for three regular sized mushrooms, which is dreadful for the price. Waitress was lovely but management staff very curt and unwelcoming.

25/03/2025: I realise this is the low season but was very disappointed with the quality of food and drink here. The two young ladies serving were really welcoming and friendly, although we waited a fair while for our order to arrive. We were the only people in here although a couple arrived a few minutes after us and their order came first! The view is truly stunning from the upper floor. We had two fruit smoothies: I'm almost certain they were just frozen fruits as they tasted just like what you'd make at home with a Tesco mixed berry mix. At €5.50 each, I guess I just expected them to be fresh. Like I say, it's not the high season so perhaps that's why as I've seen that they say they source local produce/grow their own normally. The two raisin scones were nice but I think they had been microwaved to warm up which meant they'd gone dry with a dense texture. Very ungenerous with the butter and jam: 1 small individual butter portion per scone and a heaped teaspoon of jam (which was very tasty). I did ask for more of each but they'd run out of jam, so perhaps that's explains the meagre portion. €3.50 each. All in all, I wouldn't be returning, even for the view. I've given 4* overall to reflect poor food but very nice staff and excellent surroundings.

No podía fallarlo incluso si me pagabas, la comida era maravillosa y el servicio era aún mejor! 10 / 10 sin duda volvería a cenar y recomendar a cualquiera cómo ama la comida innegablemente buena! Muchas gracias a Louise y Fergal por el servicio que proporcionaron durante toda la noche!

17/03/2025: The Brewry had been reccomended and it didn't dissapoint. We were made very welcome and given a two table at the window. We were not really hungry and opted to share a chowder starter and the steak sandwich. Service was very good from start to finish, would call again.

13/03/2025: Wonderfully l located town centre Hotel. Food and rooms are excellent. Reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable, speaking most languages.

12/09/2024: Very friendly attentive staff. Unfortunately, the food was awful. I had tomato soup and it was like something out of a can. This was accompanied by 2 tiny bits of dry bread. My friend had a pizza and was not good. Way too overpriced. Toilets were not clean.
