17/07/2025: Food was just ok. Service was v good and atmosphere was good. Busy on the day.

08/07/2025: Had breakfast here. First time there for food. It was excellent. I had poached eggs, and hubby had full Irish. Absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Waiting staff extremely courteous and friendly. Would highly recommend for the breakfast!

10/06/2025: I got a takeout lunch and was impressed by the friendly helpful server, how quickly it arrived and how delicious it was. It was just over €11. It’s just what I liked, not too much bread and a great balance of protein to vegetables. The soup was full of goodness and flavour (I bet they used a good stock).

04/05/2025: They had Gluten Free cake! Specified as being GF ingredients made in a non-GF kitchen. Staff were sound, accommodated kids with a high chair, they took our buggy off to the side somewhere, made it easy for us. Nice one.

14/07/2025: Fantastic location at Na Forbacha with plenty of parking and beach accessible at rear. Popular and busy with attentive service and good food. Perfect stop off.

11/07/2025: Really disappointed..we go here a lot & today the food was terrible.My fish & chips was burned and my wife’s seafood pasta was really not fresh at all.I told the waitress but she didn’t seem interested.I was really sick too when I got home.Be careful about this place.we both agreed we won’t return.So sad

05/05/2025: For our sons communion, we booked Gather Restaurant for catering, we had Lasagne, chicken and la king and lamb stew and potato gratin Salads and cold meat salads. & most delicious dessert. Apple crumble & Lemon Meringue Absolutely everyone commented on the quality of the food and there was no waste, Absolutely nothing. Everyone had 2nds and some even had 3rds! And the next day everything was eaten! I would highly highly recommend Siobhan and her wonderful team for catering. Siobhan even made a special meal for our son for his special day. His favourite fish and chips!

26/04/2025: Lovely place for a treat, the brunch is always super in here. It is a teensy bit expensive maybe, especially the tea/coffees, but the food is so fresh and lovely and the staff are very nice. Thank you!

11/07/2025: Lovely place. I had coffee a scone and a coffee cake. It was impeccable. Highly recommend for breakfast or for lunch. Later that day I tried the chicken soup. Also a must. Tea was good.

23/03/2025: We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding. Nice, well maintained hotel with great attentive staff who were always happy to help and answered the phone very quickly. Leisure facilities were good, clean and looked after, you need to wear a swim hat but these can be loaned from leisure reception or brought for 2.50 euro. Only very minor gripes were that the shower in the room was a bit temperamental with the hot and cold and it wasn't that powerful. Also breakfast was pretty average, did the job but nothing to write home about. If it wasn't for these two points then it would have been 5 stars.

12/07/2025: Absolutely love this place!! Had breakfast or lunch here at least 4 times over our 7 day stay…would have definitely returned for dinner if they had been open past 5pm!

17/06/2025: I honestly can't wait to go back to this place. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and great for kids breakfast. Stack of pancakes and enjoy the mini duck breakfast for €11 including tea/coffee and chips. Please visit. A gem.

14/07/2025: Great location, lovely, considerate staff, good food. Big problems- the gent's lavatory stinks and need a deep clean (what does this say about the kitchens?); there is no accessible lavatory for a wheel chair, and the lady's is up a steep flight of stairs- impossible for my wife. Needs a major re-vamp.

10/06/2025: Wow. I had a 5/5 review on this spot for a few weeks till I returned last week. So so disappointed. 0-5 now!!! I hope no-one looked at my previous review. I'm disgusted!!!!!! Partner asked for Caesar salad and....Lettuce turning brown...... I asked for Boneless Wings.... Big Lettuce STEM in the middle with no sauces. I seemingly should beg for them. Lettuce STEM can't be cleaned...... Soooo, in all....I will avoid as much as I can. I even emailed my complaint and heard nothing soo.... I've told you my experience so it's all up to you folks. I'll NEVER eat here again. TERRIBLE.
