McHughs Traditional Pub & Restaurant
11/06/2026: We stayed overnight in our Van in the top carpark thanks to the hospitality of the landlord.
The breakfast was amazing 1 full Irish with toast & coffee. 1 eggs benedict & coffee.
The Guiness the evening before was welcome too!
Lovely staff 👌
01/06/2026: This forward-thinking landlord has created a peaceful, level area for RV's and campervans at this lovely pub. My husband was hospitalised leaving me alone with a dog who has fits under stress, in our van. I was'nt able to go every day but I don't know what I would have done without them and their kindness. Thank you.

Teach an Tae Aran Cafe & Tea Rooms
30/05/2026: No complaints at this friendly outdoor bar with fresh baked goods and coffees on a terrace. Very friendly service, good coffee and a good sausage roll, much appreciated.
To find Teach an Tae, look for the green "open" flag flying on the terrace.
17/04/2026: Visited the island as part of a food and culture tour and had a wonderful lunch served to us by Alyssa. Such a delightful person with a beautiful story about coming to Inish Oirr and staying. Thank you for your friendliness and hospitality.

Pier Head
Kinvara
03/06/2026: Had a delicious dinner last night, the vegetarian option was lentil Dahl and was so tasty, it's very rare to get an interesting vegetarian option that contains protein on a menu. The margarita from the new cocktail menu was appreciated and our American friends rated the Mussels, Sea Bass and lamb chops 5 star. Great food great service thank you
27/05/2026: Very pleasant restaurant with friendly service and delicious food.

Peggy's Bar & Restaurant
25/04/2026: Very good service, food delicious. Starters around €9 and main courses around €20.
22/04/2026: Food was quite good when it finally came but service was so slow it detracted from our enjoyment. Management clearly has staffing issues as, despite us being in there at prime time dinner hour, they only had two staff, one of which who was doing almost nothing. Thankfully the petite, blond haired girl ran around serving everyone like she was working by herself. Took us almost 20 mins to just get our drinks delivered and about 45 mins for our meals to come. For the price of the food, management owes their clientele better service than this!
