Been here a few times over the years and every time its been amazing food and service. They staff are so kind. It's completely child friendly as I had 5 kids with me. Would highly recommend. The atmosphere is also lovely in every season.

Very nice restaurant. We came there for authenticity and we've got what we look for. Servers we're very kind and we didn't have to wait too long for our plates. The mood in the restaurant is good for families and we had a really good time there. I recommend it!

I had a wonderful meal at Tigh Mheaic recently. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Everything was presented beautifully, especially the bruschetta topped with fresh tomatoes and a lovely balsamic drizzle. It was such a treat to eat while sitting at a table with a classic red and white checkered tablecloth. I left feeling very satisfied and happy.

Called in for fish and chips at Tigh Mheaic and wasn't disappointed. The fish was excellent, fresh and properly cooked. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere on top of that. Well worth a stop if you're in Carna.

06/06/2026: Loved our stay here so much we extended it. So relaxing from the moment we arrived. Staff are all excellent warm, attentive but always understated. You feel very well looked after but you are always given space. Everything is spotless, decor is beautiful...a lot of thought and care has gone into it. A relaxing inviting lounge area, a big turf fire, eclectic mix of artwork, and interesting ornaments. A beautiful dining area with views over the sea, and a delicious dinner menu made for the most romantic memorable meal. Our dog was welcomed and we were never made to feel it was an inconvenience. Similarly the place is not overrun by pets and wouldn't disturb others. Can't wait to to go back ...thank you to you all
06/06/2026: Thoroughly enjoyed every part of our stay, rooms were fantastic, staff extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, food was 10/10 especially the seafood. Highly recommend and will be staying again. Looking forward to it.
