Popped in for a quick lunch while passing by. Had the most delicious house salad woth goats cheese. My most favourite salad, and this was by far the best. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I only wish I live locally so I could pop in more often.

Great place for food. Always busy for a good reason.

Very busy with high turn over, mainly due to being in a tourist attraction area. Food and drink is good. I recommend the New Zealand Kapuka white wine, it is full of flavour. I paired it with the delicious salmon and House salad. Contemporary hotel style decor. Staff are quick to take orders but keep visiting tables too often making dining experience feel rushed. There is a chill out area however, which is mainly used for awaiting table allocation.

A great place to dine eith family and friends. Food was good and tasty. The staff were courteous and attentive. The entire restaurant was clean despite having an almost full house of diners.

Excellent as always, we find the food selection will suit everyone, and the prices are acceptable, while the service is of a high friendly standard.

We visited Davis Restaurant & Yeats Tavern during our bank holiday trip as a group of 13 people, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our journey. We had called and made a reservation just an hour before arriving, and despite being a large group, we were seated within 2–5 minutes. There was plenty of parking available, which made our visit even more convenient. My first impression when entering the restaurant was that I might have come to the wrong place, as the ambiance felt more like a luxurious fine-dining restaurant than a casual family venue. However, the warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere quickly made us feel comfortable. The food was excellent throughout. Our group ordered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was well prepared and served promptly. Personally, I would highly recommend the Tex-Mex Chicken starter and the Turkey & Ham main course. Both were delicious and full of flavour. The desserts were also very enjoyable—tasty, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. What stood out the most was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. In particular, the young lady who served our table provided exceptional service. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name, but she had a flower tattoo on her neck. We visited many restaurants during our three-day trip, and her service was easily the most memorable. She was attentive, efficient, and genuinely welcoming throughout our meal. Overall, Davis Restaurant & Yeats Tavern provided a wonderful dining experience with excellent food, outstanding service, and a lovely atmosphere. I would happily recommend it to families, groups, and visitors of all ages. We left feeling very satisfied and grateful for such a pleasant experience.

Fantastic food and service! Last time to order was 8pm. They also have an ev charging station which is great! Looks like they're going to have 8 tesla superfast chargers coming up soon too!

Have ate here a good few times and have never been disappointed food is beautiful highly recommend calling in and giving it a try

Nice interior of the restaurant and taverna atmosphere - I really liked it. The service was also welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was a bit disappointing for me. I ordered the cod and chips, and both arrived completely flavourless, although salt and pepper were available on the table. I seasoned everything myself, but unfortunately it still didn’t improve the flavour. The fish itself was very bland, and even adding lemon didn’t help much. The peas were also undercooked and quite crunchy. I just couldn’t finish them. My husband tried them as well and agreed. That said, my husband enjoyed his meal, except mash potato (he said it as good as the ones we tried in other eating place throughout Ireland. He also ordered the roasted chicken and pork and said both were very good. For that reason, I’m giving 3 stars overall

My granddaughter had her Confirmation celebration meal here and the food was excellent. We were served predominantly by Karl who went above and beyond to ensure everyone was happy. But all the staff were very accommodating. Even though there were other parties and quite busy, we were never left waiting for our food. A beautiful restaurant in a beautiful part of the country. I will definitely be back, thanks to all the staff.
