Good size meal..had beer battered fish and was not greasy like some places..service friendly...

What a great little spot, food great and a session on Sun night 6-8pm.

First visit to this place.My 3 companions had the stew.They really loved it.I had the beer battered cod.Was amazing Friendly staff fast service and very reasonable.will go again

Lovely atmosphere and nice food

Truly great pub! Wonderful food at reasonable prices. These folks are always improving, either renovating something, or trying a new dish on their menu. Renovations are not dirty, or disturbing to the meal. I rarely get past their basic menu, because it's fantastic, but I have tried a few different dishes, and I've always been pleased. ***Update*** We stopped in last night, a Sunday evening before Christmas. I was shocked at how quickly our delightful dinners arrived. I was too tired to walk around and see all the changes they've made, but it is a bit brighter on the side with larger dining areas. But the original bar area has been kept as its cosy, old-fashioned style. Muddy Burns is still one of our favourite places for a good meal.

We came here to celebrate a special birthday. Despite being quite a large group, we were very well accommodated by the staff. The food was absolutely brilliant!

Beautiful food, very friendly and accommodating staff, and great atmosphere, Mark & Majella always so welcoming and generous of their time, nothing is ever a problem.
