Ended up eating here twice over the weekend including Easter Sunday. Food is absolutely excellent and the place has a great atmosphere. Spotless everywhere from kitchen to the restaurant. We had three Tomahawk steak on the Sunday which was excellent. Starters and mains both days were faultless. The waitresses were really friendly to our young daughters and the colouring pages and crayons were a nice touch. Definitely family friendly and we’ll be back during our next visit. We met Paul the chef by chance as we were leaving and he was friendly. There’s clearly a sense of pride in the great food being served here. Lovely Guinness too!

Absolutely amazing gastro pub in cong - stones throw away from Ashford Castle. Chef boasts a great tasty selection of top Irish dishes ☘️ Seafood & Steak dishes are super well crafted here - especially the tomahawk.

If you are looking for an amazing restaurant in Cong, County Mayo, Ireland. Look no further. Upon entering I was made feel very Welcome by all the staff. The Staff were extremely helpful, attentive, friendly and Very Professional. I ordered a pint of Guinness . The Guinness was a perfect pour and was absolutely amazing. The Staff gave me plenty of time to look over the menu. I ordered a Thai Curry that was accompanied by Naan Bread. Now here is something to think about. The Thai Curry was the best one I have had in many years. If the Owners, Management and Chef's are reading this. Do not make any changes to your Thai Curry. It was absolutely delicious and was beyond perfect. Upon finishing my entree. I was given plenty of time to read over the dessert menu. I ended up ordering the sticky toffee dessert and a Cappuccino. I highly recommend this amazing dessert. The Cappuccino tasted so fresh and definitely hit the spot. This Restaurant deserves five stars and more. The Restaurant is a great place to visit if you are a fan of the Movie, " The Quite Man". The Restaurant is so clean and has very clean restrooms. It should be noted I served with the United States Marines all over the World, Lived in the United States for over thirty years and traveled all over the United States. I definitely know a Great Restaurant from all my travels and life experiences. I definitely will be returning to Pat Cohan's Gastro Pub in the near future. You definitely won't be disappointed. A must visit in Cong, County Mayo, Ireland.

Ne le manquez pas ! Le meilleurs steak que j'ai mangé est ici, je suggère la sauce au vin rouge pour l'accompagner :) En plus d'un repas délicieux, l'accueil est chaleureux. Merci à Paul pour cette discussion bienveillante. De loin le meilleur restaurant que j'ai fait durant mon voyage.
