Always meet with a smile food is always good and the kitchen staff seem very willing to be flexable i get my meal my way little extras are never too much and the waitresses are great and always smiling even though they are busy and always willing to help

10/08/2026: O M G !! The best fillet steak I have eaten anywhere in the world, cooked to perfection !! The location is fantastic, the staff are friendly and delightful. We felt so spoilt.

The Crowe's Nest

09/08/2026: We were staying in the adjacent Premier Inn so had both our evening meal and breakfast in The Crows Nest. Food was great for pub grub. The service was faultless and the staff were fantastic. The restaurant is looking very tired and tatty but given the fact that it's probably closing soon and is for sale, I'm not surprised. It will be a shame to see it go if that's the case as it's been a local favourite for decades.
06/08/2026: Use this venue for an early meal on the afternoon menu to get the best value out of it.
