We had fish and chops and a Caesar salad. Both dishes were hearty and delicious. For dessert, apple pie with vanilla ice cream. I can say that this pie has the best pastry base I have ever tasted!!! It is extraordinary. I would say that the place offers simple but fresh, quality food at a reasonable price.

We had a wonderful time at Hamilton’s Bar ! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and we really enjoyed our evening. Everything was excellent, and we would happily come back again. Highly recommended ! 🇮🇪❤️

An Irish pub in a small village. Not fancy and a bit under maintained. But the food was great. Definitely worth the stop. Guinness was fantastic. And even better was the mussels straight from the fjord. A huge pot with chips. The lamb stem had nice chunks of lamb and carrots and potatoes. Absolutely divine. More then we could eat. The fish and chips was also really good. And it was introduced by naming the fish of the day. I assumed this meant it was fresh prepared. It tasted like it. Staff were friendly but not attentive but if your relaxed they will come check on you. You might pop your head in and think it was a run down pass, but sit in the back or by the fireplace and try some grub. Definitely worth a visit for the food. Probably worth it for a pint. Edit: after visiting several other pubs I updated to 5 stars. The food was amazing. The Guinness was the best I had. And I thought the service was lacking and they ignored us, but that is just how they are. They leave you alone. It is a little worn and shows it age. But it doesn't hurt the experience one bit. I recommend.

The food was incredible, tasted amazing and the portions were massive. The mussels, lamb stew, chicken tenders and the apple pie were wonderful. Would recommend making a reservation as it seemed wait times for a table otherwise could be lengthy

We had a superb meal! Both the fish and chips and the mussels from the local fjord were simply delicious. The perfect place to refuel after a strenuous day of hiking in the mountains of western Ireland.

A pleasant and very decent meal for a lunch break.

Pleasant restaurant, nice staff, choice from the children's menu. Fish good, burger tasteless with burnt meat. Not even an hour after the rain, when it was already beautiful, the tables outside had not been wiped, which was a shame, because the restaurant was full and people were leaving, that they had nowhere to sit. We would have preferred to sit outside ourselves.
