Pier Head in Kinvara

Had a delicious dinner last night, the vegetarian option was lentil Dahl and was so tasty, it's very rare to get an interesting vegetarian option that contains protein on a menu. The margarita from the new cocktail menu was appreciated and our American friends rated the Mussels, Sea Bass and lamb chops 5 star. Great food great service thank you

Great restaurant. we just happened to come in on a good and bright day, and we got chowder, except for me who got a prawn cocktail. Pretty nice but does get a tiny bit overwhelming if you eat to fast. Im not having the ice cream. There aren't any geocaches in like a 6 km radius im crine😭😭

Certainly well located, good, but the prices remain a bit high, especially since you have to factor in the service charge.

A well-located bar/restaurant on the port. We had dinner and drinks. The food was just okay. Mussels with lots of shells and very few mussels… a fish dish with four frozen shrimp, and to finish, a Baileys cheesecake where I'm still looking for the Baileys. Not bad, but not gourmet cuisine, and expensive for what you get. The bar in the other part of the restaurant is quite nice.

Service was excellent staff were very professional, the place is very atmospheric beautiful views. However the food is substandard. Withered tiny Mussels, over cooked fish. Such a pity more care is not taken when charging top dollar

Have been several times previous and it was always great. Today however the food was very poor. I had a sirloin steak which I asked to be done medium well. It was very very tough and cooked very well done. It certainly did not taste like a good quality cut of meat either in my opinion. My wife had Duck breast which was mainly bone and skin and was served with a baked potato as opposed to mash. Very disappointed and let down with the quality of food. Service, setting and atmosphere were all every good.
