Faherty's in Oughterard

Faherty’s, Oughterard – A Proper Irish Pub! ☘️🍻 Stopped here on our way to Dublin for some lovely toasties and a pint of Guinness. What a fantastic little find! A proper traditional Irish pub, full of friendly locals, with horse racing on the TV. We soon got chatting, and when they asked where we were from, we said Cheltenham. They knew it immediately, and one gentleman even said, “See you in March!” 😂🏇 Such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a brilliant example of genuine Irish hospitality. Great Guinness, good food and lovely people. One of those unexpected stops that makes a road trip memorable. We’ll definitely be back! ☘️🇮🇪

Highly recommended – both the bar and the accommodation! We stayed one night and felt very, very comfortable! The staff is fantastic! 👍

Great people, great rooms, great bar!

Could not find a single fault with Fahertys Bar the service was first class and also the toasties . I will be going back again and recommending Fahertys Bar to everyone 😁😁😁

Great little bar, staff were very kind to allow us to bring our dog into the bar for the Clare v Limerick match.

Such a lovely and homely accommodation and the owners go out of their way to make your stay a home away from home
