Donnelly's in Bearna

My boyfriend and I are visiting from the US and went here for dinner and drinks. We had such a kind server and absolute great service. The food was delicious and beautifully presented! We spent some time at the bar afterwards as per our servers recommendation and had a great time. The location is beautiful as well, 10/10 would recommend!

I ordered the Calamari, it wasnt what I expected, the aioli i wasn't sure what flavour it was in it, the salad was limp with no real flavour, the fries were not house made.

Decent bar food. Not silly expensive, clean plates at end of meal. Small car park so likely you'll be parking along the small side road on way to the pier.

Excellent service and good value for money

We found this place when the restaurant down the street could not take us. So very glad we did. Food was great as well as the service. Loved the atmosphere! We were 6 adults and one 2 yo. They made room for us. Everyone loved their order. Steak sandwich, fish and chips, beef stew, cod fish and seafood chowder were all winners. Ordered sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful as well as the bartenders. Would definitely return for food or drinks.

One of the best restaurants in Galway. The food was so good we dined here two nights in a row. High quality food, excellent customer service, lovely staff and they accommodate coeliacs.

Go hiontach. Fantastic pub with great pints and great grub. Atmosphere is usually rocking with good live tunes as well.

Had a great Sunday lunch. Chowder is really fantastic, great flavour and packed full of fish. Also had the seafood sharing platter which again was great, especially the crab. My only issue is that the sharing platter only came with one slice of brown bread. We ordered more bread which was charged at 2.50. With the sharing platter costing 32 euros it should surely come with more bread. Other than that everything was great, the Torres sauvignon blanc was delicious.

Excellent food and service. Very friendly waitress served us and the food was so fresh.

Visited during my stay in the area and I loved it. A tuesday evening and the place was hopping. Great atmosphere and really good food at reasonable prices.
