14/03/2024: What a wonderful place. Great view from our upstairs window seat. Service was very prompt and personal - even remembered my first name, having only been introduced 20minutes before on arrival.
Food was divine. Chowder, prawns, sea bass all first-class, cooked beautifully and presented with panache.
Rather surprised by the bill, which was definitely a lot less than I would have expected! A pleasant surprise indeed
Can’t wait to have another meal here - hope we can get in - it was crowded downstairs on our departure, apparently by locals. Not really surprised by that, in retrospect.

The Twelve Hotel Galway

03/04/2024: Just back from a two night stay at The Twelve and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We stayed in a family suite which was excellent. We ate in the hotel bar both nights and the food was delicious. A special mention to all the staff, they were exceptional. So friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return
30/03/2024: Super friendly staff. Great breakfast. We loved the eclectic feel of the hotel.
One notable thing is the hardwood flooring in the bedroom. It made the room feel super clean and tidy.
The room tablet was a nice touch to learn about the hotel also.

25/02/2024: Went here for Sunday lunch. The most miserable serving of roast beef I’ve ever seen. Would not feed a mouse. 23.50 and I left the place starving.

09/01/2024: Had an incredible meal at West to celebrate a birthday. The service and food were exceptional. And above that, the staff have clearly put a lot of effort into making this more of an experience than just a meal. Lots of dishes, tasters and plenty of theatre to go along with it. Thought it was exceptional value for the quality of the meal. I also stayed in Twelve which I would highly recommend. If looking for a break and a meal than I couldn't recommend West highly enough.
05/11/2023: As a Spanish person I’m quite picky with food and I have to say that We had an Amazing experience! We will definitely come back. Food was just delicious. The flavours in every dish were incredible. We were celebrating a birthday and they made our experience unique. I would 100% recommend WEST restaurant in the twelve.

10/03/2024: Delivery was 1 hours late (which I could get over as it was a busy day for all food services!) but food was cold and 2 items in our order were wrong. The food we did get was bland.

31/03/2024: Very limited and poor vegetarian options. Questionable 'organic' vegetables on vegan pizza. Steak was mediocre. Lamb was cooked well. Standard of food in general has dropped.
10/02/2024: Such a lovely spot! Didn’t expect it to be so nicely done, not to mention fantastic customer service. This place made me feel like I was on holidays where tourists come first. Food was absolutely gorgeous. The only thing that really put me off was tip that was added to the bill without asking. I still would have tipped as service and food was incredible, but I would rather it be my decision, and not something forced.

10/03/2024: Very poor customer service from the guy on the phone. Cancelled my order after accepting and then said too busy and I'm too far away. Food never arrived and having to chase up the refund.

09/03/2024: Have been a huge fan of this pizzeria pre covid/covid..recently, pizza has been picked up..arrive home 5 mins away and pizza is cold..lodged complaint and pickup time and how long pizza has sat under the lights..offered a coupon for free pizza..my wife..just today..orders pizza..given collect time..collects coupon from front reception. Arrives prior to pick up time to see pizza under warming lights...pizza maker when seeing coupon said he had to verify with manager .he was gone for 5 mins..returned to say manager had to see coupon..gone again for at least 2 mins..pizza still under warming lights..my wife left and said she didnt want pizza..how the mighty have fallen.
02/11/2023: Great pizza, great service. Very lucky to have this in the village.
