The Twelve is a 4 Star Boutique hotel located in the village of Barna. It is on the coast road to the West of Galway City. The Pins Gastro Pub serves great bar food. The setting is relaxed with lots of privacy. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The Twelve is easy to locate, plus it has free parking.

We stayed at the Twelve in Bearna with our two dogs, it was so lovely to see how genuinely welcoming the staff were and it was really dog friendly. There were gifts and treats for the doggies as well and a sweet card to welcome us. The staff are so helpful and friendly, we were able to take Archie and Poppy with us throughout the hotel. Other guests were really sweet and there were other little doggies staying over as well. I would highly recommend the Twelve and we will be back.

17/05/2026: This place was such a hidden gem. We found it last minute coming from Galway and managed to get a reservation. The service was great and the food was even better. The prime rib was honestly some of the best I’ve had great quality and cooked perfectly. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to soon.
14/05/2026: Our favourite place for Sunday brunch. Amazing food and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

25/06/2026: We had some trout and soup and it was delicious! The decor is giving family restaurant with big screens to watch the football, which is not my style at all, but the food was absolutely delicious. The soda bread in particular was phenomenal! And the staff were really nice and lovely. It was reasonably priced and really good quality.
