09/05/2026: Food was better than some fine dinning restaurants. Exceptional service by Molly and Martin and Chef Cathal, Manager Georgina Desserts menu was very original. We stayed in the Glasson hotel and was good to have something different. Highly recommended 👌

25/04/2026: Came here for a meal as the glasson lakehouse restaurant is very poor. Was really impressed got a beautiful Asian salad to start and the rest of the food was just as nice. Lovely selection of wine, staff really nice. Real local family vibe in there. Plenty of noise so you can talk without being listened to. Would come back.

13/05/2026: We had the best St Patrick's Day at The Auld Shebeen Moate. The staff and atmosphere were brilliant - really looking forward to going back and trying the food.

12/05/2026: The staff were so lovely and welcoming. I had lunch there today and it was absolutely beautiful — freshly cooked and served piping hot. I’m really looking forward to trying more of the menu. The prices are very reasonable too, making it definitely worth a visit for a lovely lunch. 🥰

05/05/2026: I love this place have been may times started during lockdown as we brought the dogs at sat outside In the garden area. Everything is great parking might be a challenge at peak times but never for us

04/05/2026: It feels a bit like a little sister of Avoca ;) The same vibe, but still quite a long way to go to reach the same level. Overall it's pretty good, nice pastries, and tasty coffee. The shop part is very pretty, you can find a lot of interesting pieces there.

05/05/2026: We recently hosted a party at The Bailey Bar on Saturday night, and it was outstanding from start to finish. The food was excellent, the service was seamless, and the staff were truly unbelievable throughout the evening. From the moment we arrived, everyone felt comfortable and well looked after. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and many of our guests commented on how friendly and attentive they were. It was an amazing experience overall, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Bailey for any special occasion. I’ll definitely be booking future parties there.

06/02/2026: Very hit and miss.... food is nice but lazy week day staff let's it down , that big guy in the black jacket is a waste of space and very unprofessional.. took my order, didn't leave the order slip out and proceeded to wander round talking crap to other staff who apparently had nothing to do either, I was on a lunch break so the delay in getting 1 wrap really annoyed me . He is either related to the owner or there for free as I don't know how he gets away with it .

17/02/2026: Don't go in on your own as they clearly would prefer to utilise tables than welcome all customers. They treated my daughter appallingly as she was alone, she wanted lunch and was home for Christmas. Greed at the end of the day gets you nowhere. None of us will go there now.

31/01/2026: Ilia is our go to spot in Mullingar! Great food, nice chill atmosphere very reasonable price & lovely staff! Can confidently say i’ve never been disappointed would definitely recommend!!

18/04/2026: It is a very good stop Lots of parking, good toilets and services in general. Very nice staff and know their jobs well. Lot of confusion when some order from the kiosk and others want to pay at the till as people just stand around everywhere so it took a few mins to get a staff members attention that I wasn't waiting on a kiosk order so maybe a sign or something might help. Chicken was a little dryer than other Supermacs but still fine. Bins a bit untidy but they were busy Nothing that would stop me calling again for another experience
