Exceptional food. Four of us stopped for lunch on the way to Galway. Leah was lovely and friendly. Maggie was brilliant, full of information for our onward journey made our day. Perfect service

Had a lovely lunch at Left Bank on Saturday we had a Cousin reunion, there was six of us, we all enjoyed our Lunch, service and atmosphere was great. Highly recommend restaurant.

Best food I’ve had since getting into the UK five days ago. All the staff is absolutely wonderful. The pulled pork special, was the BEST pulled pork, I have EVER had. 10/10, no notes.

Recommend by others online The main menu is fine but check the special board It has some really good food Solo traveler in a T5 van Did not book in advance So given a table by the bar I can't blame them but you miss the banter of the restaurant As for the food can't complain abd would Recommend Also the wine menu is not big but realy good Lost one star for seating but I do get it

Best restaurant in Athlone. A true Irish experience. Very, very good risotto and delicious, fresh fish. If you're passing through Athlone, this is a must!

A very good experience; the place is nice, next to the river, and quite large. You do have to go early, though, as it's packed by 1:30 pm. The chicken tacos are delicious.

15/08/2026: I Booked Jalan Jalan for Saturday night at 7 for two and was given a lovely seat at the window, when we sat down to read the menu we were spoilt for choices so we ended on duck rolls and California maki to start and had Singapore noodles and duck soup noodles for main and from start to finish everything was delicious and the service was fabulous. Definitely recommend and will hopefully make a trip back to Athlone to try again
02/08/2026: Ended up here by accident and did not regret it. Food was amazing, but service extremely slow.

The Bailey Bar

12/06/2026: Its a simple accomodation but thats reflectes in the price . Very central . Rooms are clean and i had a perfect sleep . Abpve all staff is very friensly and helpfull . I came here with my bicycle and after asking where i could.park the bike safely they wven gave me the option of taking it intp my room . Also the adjacent bar serves very decent food at a reasonable price . Overall very pleasant experience to stay at the bailey .

We ordered: 🍅 Bruschetta 🍝 Baked Pasta (in tomato sauce) 🥣 Vegetable Soup 🍛 Vegetable Curry & Rice Every single item was absolutely delicious, freshly made, and served piping hot—which was an amazing bonus since it was raining heavily outside!
