Recommend by others online The main menu is fine but check the special board It has some really good food Solo traveler in a T5 van Did not book in advance So given a table by the bar I can't blame them but you miss the banter of the restaurant As for the food can't complain abd would Recommend Also the wine menu is not big but realy good Lost one star for seating but I do get it

Best restaurant in Athlone. A true Irish experience. Very, very good risotto and delicious, fresh fish. If you're passing through Athlone, this is a must!

A very good experience; the place is nice, next to the river, and quite large. You do have to go early, though, as it's packed by 1:30 pm. The chicken tacos are delicious.

12/06/2026: Its a simple accomodation but thats reflectes in the price . Very central . Rooms are clean and i had a perfect sleep . Abpve all staff is very friensly and helpfull . I came here with my bicycle and after asking where i could.park the bike safely they wven gave me the option of taking it intp my room . Also the adjacent bar serves very decent food at a reasonable price . Overall very pleasant experience to stay at the bailey .

We ordered: 🍅 Bruschetta 🍝 Baked Pasta (in tomato sauce) 🥣 Vegetable Soup 🍛 Vegetable Curry & Rice Every single item was absolutely delicious, freshly made, and served piping hot—which was an amazing bonus since it was raining heavily outside!
