James Joyce Restaurant in Mullingar

Had the pleasure of staying here last weekend and had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Lovely rooms and friendly and efficient staff. Thank you to Karen and all the staff for making our stay so memorable.

3 of us went for dinner. Order got mixed up. Hence, I got no starter (chowder). I had overcooked duck. One of our party had fish and chips which was OK another had the fillet steak which was delicious. Overall it could have been better. Though there was a big crowd eating.

Just went for a meal at night with friends. The beef was amazing as always. Great friend service from bar staff. Always great times at the Greville.

Fantastic place for carvery and restaurant. Another great Sunday dinner with family and friends. Great service and excellent staff.

Amazing hotel in centre of Mullingar ,I have stayed here on numerous occasions, The hotel I have noticed the hotel has changed in a good way, it is more inviting, staff more professional, food amazing, still a great pint of Guinness , Well done .

Very good. Old hotel in the centre of Mullingar. Good friendly staff who go the extra mile to be helpful. Good basic facilities wifi etc. only drawback is no lift - not the hotels fault. It's a listed building and a lift would not be appropriate to the 'townhouse' even if it were allowed. The only other small problem is finding the car park entrance which can be difficult if you miss the turning

Visited for a quick birthday dinner. Food was incredible, great variety of options. Service was quick, and staff were lovely.
