Red Earth in Mullingar

Nice restaurant, very efficient staff, nice range of food, reasonable prices, good parking.

Very slow service. Very pricey. Staff didn't seem to care where my order was. A lot of staff training needed.

The food is fabulous, staff are quite helpful but the prices are very expensive. 2x coffees, 4x cakes and 2x wraps were just under €50

Little bit pricey €15.95 for a breakfast that was quite edible, I did taste most of it but not the black pudding, egg was freshly cooked, what I didn't like was the heavy Delph teapot and breakfast plate, food was on a cold plate, so that soon chilled, and tea soon went cold.

Sopped by on our road trip and we felt like home here! It’s half self serve but well organised - would recommend

I love in County Mayo but regularly visit mullingar - my daughter and her lovely family live there. We always eat in Red Earth and I never leave without shopping ! I bought a Christmas pudding (just for myself) and IT WAS DELICIOUS…… the Stars are for that, in particular, but your restaurant and lifestyle Store get five stars 🌟☀️☀️☀️☀️also. food is exceptional, although a bit pricy, service is good, closes very early however, atmosphere was fine but had alot of elderly people leering at me and my friends, overall would recommend if your looking for something a bit more on the fancier side

A very pleasant spot for a quick lunch or coffee. Can get quite busy. I like that they've changed the seating to designated instead of the manic free for all it used to be. Food was fantastic if a little pricey for what it is. Having said that, food is always fresh and hot. This time I had the chipotle chicken burger. A full fresh breast of chicken in a chipotle marinade rather than a batter which helped keep the chicken moist and soft, barely needed to chew. Lots of jalapenos, which I love, and a side order of fries (frozen though). OH had the Saigon beef stir fry. This had lots of beef which surprised us, I wonder if it was busier would you get more veg than beef? This had a side order of rice. OH loved it. We've been a few times over the years and will return, but it's definitely a place you go to less often than a regular coffee/restaurant place due to prices. Would recommend trying it.
