Best meal ive ever had, cant wait to come back.

Different, quirky and tasty. Not ur everyday restaurant but worth a look.

One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten! The flavour combination in each of the courses was excellent. The scallop starter, shiitake main and chocolate/mint dessert. Also, great value for money for such a high end experience.

Excellent meal in Thyme tonight. They catered so well for both dairy and gluten free requirements and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you all!

Thyme is Athlone’s best known secret, all tables were fully booked and there was a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was beautifully presented. The menu represented modern Irish cuisine, celebrating Irish ingredients. The wine list was vast, interesting, and well priced. We found that we were rushed into ordering quite quickly upon arrival. We booked a 20h30 table and understood that orders needed to be in before 21h but were approached by staff three times before we were ready. Perhaps if each month’s menu was available online to view in advance (rather than a sample menu) we’d have been able to order faster and not felt quite as under pressure. Despite this, it was an excellent meal overall.

Absulutly fantastic meal last night 4 of us went to your restaurent. It was outstanding . I can say it was the best meal we have had for a long time . We eat out regularly and this is the top of the list . Presentation& service excelent.we will be back. From kilkenny .

Great value for such good food! Went here for valentines; the staff were so kind, friendly and attentative. Highly recommend the Ham Hock, just delicious, and presentation was so lovely! A real treat to be brought here for dinner. Clean, modern, but cozy decor. Plenty of parking at the Strand & around the AIB/Raddison areas too. Will definitely be back again.

Lovely setting but seriously the portions for fish main course and desert were a joke for the price charged. Not coming back I'm afraid.

Finally managed to get back to Thyme (Our last dinner there was just before lockdown). Beautiful food and great service as always. I have an egg allergy which they kindly accommodated. Dessert was a particular highlight!
