Stopped in for a pint after a match with my brother and father. Fantastic place, served by Josie who was a legend. Had a great chat with the owner about the plans he has for out the back. We went to the new function area out back which was super. Great spot, will stop again to try the grub next time. Nice yo see a place put in a great effort for each and every customer 👍

Noddy is probably the best female bar woman in the world. This is family run, spotless clean, bedrooms are brand new and just homely and gorgeous. Excellent bar persons. Never waiting for service. Food is excellent. Venue out the bar for parties is ideal. Some investment made into Moate. The legend Paddy B is as welcoming as ever. Aaron super barman.

I’m a regular in the auld shebeen and it’s an absolutely brilliant pub. By far the best In moate. And the staff are absolutely excellent especially noddy and John!!! They are legends!!!!! Two peas in a pod 🫛 Artists!!!!!
